  1. Exactly, and what did we need to do? Tear it all down. Our rebuild is a year in and I am looking forward to see us going forward, as I think we will be a fair bit improved next season with a settled core. Hearts are a mess right now and the upcoming transition of ownership doesn't make me think it's going to get sorted out particularly quickly.
  2. There are big differences between the 2014/15 Hearts and what next season's Hearts will be. Hearts essentially knew they were getting relegated from the beginning of the season, and so spent a lot of their time preparing for the following campaign. This season Hearts just kept digging themselves into a whole desperately trying to avoid it, with little plan for the future, and it's backfired. Ann Budge and her consortium were just coming in then with their resources, allowing for easy funding for a really good side. While Hearts likely won't be short of that despite the fortune they spent this season, Budge is heading oot and the club will be fan-owned, which I personally don't think will work out at all for them. They've already admitted that any Championship push would have to make large use of their (admittedly deep) youth system, and I don't see the kind of planning or ability to invest in a side that created the efficient 2014/15 side. Tl;dr - I think they could potentially shit the bed and am looking forward to see how.
  3. I for one am not bothered, perhaps even a bit pleased.
  4. Except when the league says it's finished. You're just not going to accept that, and I get that. Them's the breaks.
  5. I mean I'm pretty certain already there'll be no reconstruction, considering the constant outpouring of doubt and the wish for the majority of teams in the Prem to just get on with it and away from this pish.
  6. I'm pretty sure a crippling pandemic virus shutting everything down for months if not a year or so was also 'never the deal'.
  7. Whereas Hearts will be harmed financially - not by some unfair arbitrary punishment randomly imposed on them though, but because they were the worst team in the league when the league literally HAD to stop. It is far from ideal I will grant, as it would have been far preferable for teams to finish the full season. Trust me, I would've liked to have seen Dundee give the playoffs a crack. But we can't though, because our season had to be called. Could I claim that was unfair and has had or will have some potentially negative effect on my club? Absolutely. But I know that there is no other viable option.
  8. Dearie me, no matter how many times it is reiterated that 'if the Prem is voted to be finished it will be finished', it'll never get through. To think, today could be the day...
  9. So how much credence do we lend to noted arsewipe Stewart Robertson in his airing of potentially classified SPFL info?
  10. Robertson chickened out of the SPFL board meeting today after making himself look like a complete arse. You couldn't make this shite up. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rangers-md-stewart-robertson-ducks-21993218?fbclid=IwAR2eaSvIXDZoFHJfsWjdsHhxToFA3UC9AfwwBAK1om8-VICQXQhAGfWJqso
  11. I respect the dedication it takes to convince yourself that this dossier is anything other than a load of hot air.
  12. Fair play to him, if he thinks he can get it then I say go for it.
  13. Brilliant stuff. There's always a new aspect of this picture i discover every time I see it.
  14. Excited for the Christian Nade one personally. Quality drawing of Gowser.
  15. I think what Nelms suggested in his interview might happen will indeed be the case - if there is reconstruction, it will be done in stages and won't start until 21/22 or so.
  16. Sadly it's just concept art. Tbf the account has made some good concepts for Scottish sides recently.
