Been the name since 2017. The entire saga goes back to 1998 when the club seperated from the army thus dropped the CSA from the name. In 2014 the former parent CSA Steua which is part of the national defence ministry won a lawsuit on the claim the club had never been approved to use the 'Steua' trademark. There's a club under the CSA Steua Bucuresti name currently in the 3rd tier owned by the ministry mentioned. To complicate things both clubs claim the records pre-2017 with UEFA and the Romanian League attributing it to FCSB but CSA Steua won a court case in 2019 in relation to the records.
