I would love to see Piracy's take on this.

Hearts Colts away in the Challenge Cup. Hopefully should set us up nicely for a potential trip away in the next round

The sooner Kenny Miller gets announced as Livi manager so we can rule him out, the better

Would mean that Fraser/Fonts/Morris would be the logical back three pairing.
Do we have anyone that can cover at centre half other than those three (don't say Kelly, please)
Griovisti or however it is spelt. Not sure if Watson can play in the middle? Kelly is the other who can cover there but i'd say we're probably sorted at the back now. There's always the U20's squad who can be used

Anyone that played 35 games for St Mirren last year is more than welcome. Especially in an area of the pitch where we are lacking. Now lets find out who this striker is that we're apparently signing and we should have a rather nice squad to be playing a 3-5-2 and dominate most teams next season.

Bringing back a 'legend' in the next few days

We now have a squad of 24 (assuming Davies, Schalk and JOB are away). For a bit of perspective, St Mirren had a squad of 31 at the end of last season and Inverness played 24 players throughout the season. Fair to say, we can maybe expect a couple more signings but not much. With the signings we've made and the possibility to blend youth and experience, I'm really getting quite optimistic about this season.
Money on Morris and McManus to score on their return to EEP

As long as we avoid a Mceveley/Davies situation

As you say, our back 3 looks very thin. We only really have two defenders.
We'll be waiting on Davies to make his decision before we sign anyone there I imagine. Wouldn't be the first time he was "away". If we're going to be playing 3 at the back which seems to be the case, 6 defenders in the squad will be plenty as long as some can play at full back or centre back. So 2 more defenders.
As for up front, with 4/5 wingers or attack minded midfielders, that'll be fine. Another striker if we can get one cheap then fine as long as either Wallace or Morrison are going out on loan but 4 is plenty there too.
January window is always there to fill gaps.

Harry Paton.
Discuss.
Just signed for County and have heard good things. Will he make the step up to the Championship easily enough?

This is an Australian version, coached by former County forward and Hughes's Joondalup team-mate, Steven McGarry
Our last Australian did alright

I'm gonna take pelters for this but....... I like it. Option from the bench, experience, can play in any attacking position. Remember, we're a division below now. Players don't have to be as good. There's obviously a player in there and if we can get that player out more often then maybe we'll look back on this differently

Just nice to have business done earlier isnt it? Getting itchy feet seeing everyone else announcing signings

Did Dow re-signing ever get an official announcement or is it still rumours?

Not a fan of either tbh. Thought the away had to be distinctive from the home but they clash.

None of you saw Celtic's 3 kits last year then. All green forcing them to wear their 16/17 away kit when playing at Easter Road.

I'm sure a Highland Derby or two will get moved for Alba coverage though (if they still cover games of course).
I wouldn't be surprised to see BT bag a couple. They've shown a few big championship games in the last 2 seasons. If not, I'm sure ALBA will pick them up for 5:15 Saturday KO. Big fan if it happens

I tend to think Kettlewell and Ferguson have been a bit too loyal to certain members of their squad
I'm interested as to who you mean by this. Most of those signing on from last season were on longer deals and offered reduced terms or leave as per their contract.
