Yesterday was in my opinion up there with our best of the season so far and against a better opponent.
defended well , organised and particularly in the second half we disrupted them further up the park .
all positive for league going forward

Watched the highlights
not sure about sending off. Minimal contact and seemed to be off balance .
more than being fouled . If it is a sending off it’s a bit harsh

A bit of a concern
we’re away now for nearly 3 weeks and you would think give a chance for park to settle.
However Rangers B at home twice this week and haven’t even looked beyond thatgoing to be an issue with playing surface me thinks

Clearly there had been a fair amount of rainfall on Friday night and as soon as I heard there was an inspection I feared the worst.
I agree with Jan that looking at park in long term probably better this was off as what would have park been left looking like.
I do feel that info was slow to come out and don’t get why Stirling wouldn’t have been kept up to speed1 -
No doubt rovers seem to play against us but as others have said didn’t really look like scoring.

ref had a awful game with worst being giving a goal kick to us when it was a corner.
Orsi came into it in second half and our back 4 were solid enough .

I thought that’s the best we’ve played all season. Could have built in 2-0 but irs as if we thought just close game down and we did other than one shot.
thot carsewell and McKee in particular were great but no failures. Super second goal with great finish.

Interesting differing opinions Jan .
I thought Forfar least impressive of all teams I’ve seen. We allow teams possession and make them look good but for me not Forfar .in addition I find Blair very frustrating I that in last few games including today he plays the lazy passes putting us in trouble. That said I thought he had a great second half with some great through balls.

I thought we did deserve the 3 points despite some awful defending at the goals. We were forced in the second half to play a style of front foot play our manager admits us against what we would wish.
pity our final ball just lacked a bit of quality .
for me orsi McKee and carsewell we our best .
just wish we didn’t give so much possession away in first half by sitting off. 72% at one stage0 -

At one point yesterday a fan shouted at keeper re passing out rather than punting up the park.
the keeper started to answer back
i did shout at keeper to ignore sidelines and concentrate on game not to listen to shouts from side.
don’t think faz should fall into this trap either0 -
I said after about 15 mins that regardless of score we were the better team and was right. We were the better team. Annan were very one dimensional but we were guilty of inviting them to do it .
Mclean did very well in his isolated role winning lots of air balls. McKee put his foot on ball when needed.
lynas had a dodgy first half but to his credit was great in second half
and great goal from Wylde . Most of others good pass marks.

We’re in second division and can’t believe we weren’t looking at a young upcoming striker either loan, juniors etc as some kind of back up instead of the older ones we went for.
example is the gray type player. We should have more youngsters in the team0 -

Overall I though sons were the better team and deserved it in the end.
some awful defending by lynas at goal caused more harm than appeared necessary from first half.
also we exposed carsewell to 1on1 far to often for comfort. Agree wallace linked up fairly well when he came on .in the end we would all have taken 3.1 at start of play .
orsi probably deserved his mom too

Don’t get why we went with 2 wingers and 2 up top when rest of season we have been more defensive.
back four missed the extra cover and were well exposed. Both holding mid were off the mark today and badly lost the midfield battle.
manager interview seems to accept this so no surprise most of fans could see thru it.in the despair orsi and McKee got pass marks .

Echo what most have said re lynas. I also thought today Wilson was very good when he came on after some criticism.

Think in playing our usual game plan we allowed Bonnyrigg to build their confidence.
however despite this didnt feel in any danger.
overall made for a poor game but wins are wins
for me Wallace streets ahead of anyone else x
