  1. Not at all. Regarding Goodwillie, I understand both sides of the argument but, tbh, not quite sure where I stand. I am all for punishment to fit the crime but Rehabilitation must also come into play at some point. Fair enough, I was just sounding out the current thinking which seems fairly unanimously against, so far.
  2. I agree about the header by Ompreon but when he came on he didn’t really have much of a clue about what to do. He ran about but that was about it. I know it’s early but I doubt as to whether either him or Wilson will make it. With Dowds not favoured we are totally threadbare up front. Seems like a loan signing is our only option. I expect Goodwillie is still a no-no for most people. It’s a pity as he’s a good player.
  3. Certainly very disappointing attendance for a local derby in August. Interesting to know how many watched on TV?
  4. Firstly, it’s not fake and, secondly, there are certain places I just don’t want hassle, football being one. TBH, I hadn’t fully appreciated they were mask free. Anyway, have a nice evening.
  5. True, but...... We offered to show our digital exemptions but they said, ‘Don’t bother, do what you want’. Superb.
  6. Was at the Airdrie game today and all the stewards were totally mask free. Even told me not to bother showing my digital exemption to them. Wonderful to see. Well done, Airdrie.
  7. Pleased to see the Airdrie stewards were totally mask free. Made the game feel normal.
  8. Hard to know when you’re in a stand but I thought we had a lot more than Airdrie
  9. Survived skimming it, thanks. Thankfully, not a teacher. Would have thought that this is an area where the parents should be heavily involved, especially in Primary School.
  10. How condescending!! Maybe you’re the weirdo?
  11. That’s why I asked for teachers to comment. Seems to be quite a few on here.
  12. OK. Can you confirm to someone who hasn’t been near a Primary School for goodness knows how long that the Mail is wrong. It says that kids can change their gender within school without the teachers needing to tell their parents. Teachers, please. Is that right or wrong? Hopefully, it’s wrong. Mrs DPB is very angry!!
  13. Apparently, although not confirmed, some restaurants in France are not accepting the SG paper version. If so, this puts the pressure on. Thank goodness we didn’t join their vaccine system.
  14. Sheerin said after Peterhead that Williamson and McKay would be back in a couple of weeks.
  15. TBH, it’s hard to think of a reason to see a teller at a bank. You only need to see someone about opening an account, getting a loan or something important.
  16. Be careful. Anytime I’ve mentioned Holt in a positive light, I’ve had sh... pored over me.
  17. Did you read what I said? Dont you have a sense of humour?
  18. Just read it. Wonderful stuff. Best read I’ve had for a long time. Just surprised the editor allowed it. Everything tends to be very sanitised nowadays. Dont know how much of it I agreed with or not but a fabulous read. Well done, Keith.
  19. I see Scotrail are not going to enforce the wearing of masks on trains. Sensible approach. Looks like the beginning of the end.
  20. Fair enough. Problem is that everything I post on here is absolutely true. Impossible to verify, I’m afraid.
  21. We need a new "Things that didn't happen thread" exclusively for all the DPB tall tales ! Oh well, please yourself. You’ll miss out on quite a few ‘nuggets’.
  22. No. One of his jobs was to network people in the investment scene to canvas for new start-ups and get people and funds to invest. I don’t think this was to do with Greensill. Fortunately, for my son, this happened just when the Greensill affair was coming out and rather blighted Cameron’s credibility. Sounds a shabby business. I don’t know. Blair was bad but this could be worse. TBF, Gordon Brown seems to have stayed clear of this type of scandal.
