  1. I know they're not my team but living in Troon, I see Troon FC are playing Kilmarnock Legends at 2pm on Saturday. Rumour has it that Gus MacPherson is to play. Not that I'm saying any Ayr fan should come to sunny Troon's Portland park with pitchforks and bricks to launch, though I will be attending a Troon game with an Ayr shirt on, giving abuse to these DKB Has-beens
  2. Yup. Mines did that. I'm not a fan of this new shirt at all. Hopefully the away shirt looks better. With ICT failing to get to the premier League, surely they will be releasing players (along with every team in the premiership play offs) Who could we say would potentially make this Ayr team better? Anyone other than Richard Foster. If you think he'd be a good signing, you can get in the sea.
  3. I doubt he'd accept almost every award going at Ayr over the season, to then put a video like that up for him to disappear to another team. Confident Tomi is staying. He's been an integral part of this team and the fans love him. If the video was of him showing 'progress' then he should be a much better player (For Ayr) in the coming season
  4. Yeah, will cause Ayr a massive setback with the numerous loans they were getting from Burnley.
  5. I told my boy that the white team was Ayr. He was ecstatic I Wonder how the poor little brainwashed mites got the days off school for that
  6. Snap! Him and Cameron Salkeld! Mind you, I won the Champions league with an Ayr team that had Michael Moffat in Attack, who had scored 27 goals in the competition. Very realistic
  7. Hasn't really got him anywhere, has it? He's meant to be improving his team, not taking players who weren't even the best in their position at their club. McCall has continually signed pretty much the same team the whole time he's been back in football.
  8. Not too annoyed at Muirhead disappearing, though did think he'd stay as I'm certain he started his career here at Somerset. Rather Ayr got rid of all the centre backs from last season. Surely now Bullen has a Michael Rose type younger player in mind ... That, or we are completely F*cked next season with the same crap defence we relied on last season, which never looked good at any point. At least we won't have another shite game with Muirhead in midfield
  9. Well, if you name the players Dalziel brought in, there's a good few that come across as odd. Probably only bought them so other teams couldn't have them. Allan McManus, Scott Crabbe, Craig McEwan etc.
  10. Gary Teale, £400000 sold to Wigan and £90000 bought from Clydebank. Joe Chalmers, £1 and a mars bar to Dunfermline and bought for a packet of cheese and onion from Inverness. One was a fantastic football player, the other is an inadvertent football comedy genius. Some things money can't buy, for everything else, relegation
  11. Baird for Ambrose Honestly don't see the point in picking from a team as defeated as the Dunfermline that played today. Think Bullen could do better, certainly with Mathie and co doing their stuff.
  12. Dunfermline have 17 shots, 3 on target. I thought Ayr were poor for converting this season but ffs.
  13. Cowdenbeath by a country mile. Been once (play offs that I'd like to forget) and never again.
  14. He tries to pick his spot sometimes you just wish he'd put his foot through it, for striker's I've seen in the flesh for Ayr he's on a best of list with Shankland, Hurst, Walker and then Moff He's up there with the best, no doubt. My favourite showing of his was against Clachnacluddin. They had scored and Moff just went ballistic, scoring two goals and at times, looked like the only Ayr player on the park wanting to be there. Should've scored about twenty that game.
  15. Found this when clearing through my stuff. What was the defence back then? Rb Reid or Geggan CB Adams and Rose and Boyle at left back?
