If they are working on something during the window, like a couple of deals over the line before Saturday, it might calm folk down a bit to see how it works out. But it would only work if it was players folk had heard of.ย

Danny Wilson is looking for a club in Scotland ๐Ÿค” Would be okay I this level I believeย

Andy Halliday being looked at by lower Premiership and championship clubs.ย

Can cover the full back positions competently, which we badly need this season. And could then be the experience and dirty side of the game style player we need in midfield for next season.ย

People tend to laugh at him because of his spell at Rangers, but he would be a very good player at this level.ย

Friends with Andy Murdoch I'm sure ๐Ÿค” probably end up at Inverness ๐Ÿ™„

If he's in the dugout on Staurday I'm no going. I'm voting with my feet. I'm sure there will be at least a couple of hundred season ticket holders doing the same. As for pay at gate, it'll take a nose dive.

See, I thought the opposite. I'm going to stand next to the dugout and you'll be sure as F*ck he'll hear me boo.

As a manager I wouldnโ€™t want him back, but would 100% take him in a director of football role in charge of recruitment instead of that fraud Glendinning.

I do believe that if McCall was manager again and it being the beginning of the January transfer window, McCall would have used his contacts to get a few players in at a championship level.ย

On paper, bullens signings are 'sign and hope' very much on the basis that one player (Akinyemi) did very well. In reality, we need new fullback's, new central defence, new midfielders and a new striker.

Partick have just signed a player from glenafton .

Not saying that's the level that we should be looking at but surely there's a few hidden gems, who actually would give a good bash at this level.

Luke Mcbeth has apparently impressed Kris Doolan enough for him to sign him though he might *look like the innocent flower, But be the serpent under it.* ๐Ÿ˜‹ย

  6. Happy New year Everyone Ayr united! ๐ŸŽ†๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿป

Wishing every one of you all every success, good luck and fortunes. The next year will be a great one for us Ayr followers, new stand, new players, new horizons for us all*

*With the exception of Somerset Boab. New year, new ambitions and above all, a new lower tolerance level for his pish patter. Get in the fucking sea, you egotistical, arrogant, shite singing affront to Ayr united.

I take my kids and itโ€™s such a hard sale some times. I can also remember, just(!) a prehistoric past when I went without kids and we all nudged each other to say kids are close. Behaviour was โ€˜mutedโ€™. We are not the type of club to be putting barrierโ€™s in the way of young fans (lifetime customers).

Don't get me wrong, my boy is 8 now and knows his fair share of swear words. Though language and behaviour should be calmed a bit if there's children around. Sadly, passion of the game can sometimes intervene ๐Ÿ˜… I don't encourage it, as it's a game at the end of the day.

I had a shouty foul four letter worded tirade towards Jay Henderson at the Inverness game last season. Nothing that I'd say was overly harsh,ย  honestly my sons wee face lit up at his newly gained knowledge of adjectives, verbs and nouns. My boy literally said it word for word on Fortnite that night ๐Ÿ˜‚ children pick up everything. Gave him a stern talking to afterwards.

His headteacher supports that lot and my boy refers to him as 'The Soap Dodging Dick', to which I can't even give him into bother for. As he dodges soap. Also he's a dick (His name is Richard).

I think the standard of goalies in this league is pretty poor. Albinson is one of the better ones but only really as a shot stopper. MacDonald at Morton must be up there as well. Everyone seems to be really soft at dealing with shots from range. Ross Doohan is levels above anyone playing in this league and heโ€™s only a backup at Aberdeen these days.ย

I think Ayr have been blessed in recent seasons with decent keepers. The good ole days of Greg Fleming ๐Ÿ˜.ย  Doohan and Sinisalo did incredible in their stints with the club, at such young ages. Albinson was fantastic last season and looked much better, safer and more reliable than that of McAdams.ย

I think given time, Mutch could quickly settle. It's good that there's a choice for who's number one. I'd rather either of them than Dabrowski, my gran could have stopped Rose's Shot, if stood in the same position.

We also have the bonus of having Ecrepont, with him being one of the hottest prospects Ayr have had in a while. Still a wee bit off the first team but exciting to see if he gets there.
