  1. Talking to us about points hahahaha deary me, put the Stella and needles down and check the table boys. That alky Imrie is probably a perfect fit for Morton when I reflect actually. You've been floating around Championship and L1 for years, we're having a title push in our first season in this league, the Morton bitterness and rage is magic.
  2. Morton battle hard and had some decent moments but QP by far the better football side. Morton Manager lacked a bit of class at the end trying to have a go at QP fans, it was a draw mate relax. Shields must score the chance before half time. 3-0 at the break and it’s over. Then a perfectly good goal disallowed from Eze. Really poor from Charlie Fox for the first Morton goal. There’s only 1 runner into the box just feckin look over the shoulder and get close. Jack Thomson and Savoury outstanding for me. Loads of good performances but just not enough sadly. Oh well, congrats on the 2-2 victory it was a good day out for you lot.
  3. That has to be one of the worst refereeing decisions I’ve ever seen. Completed robbed a third goal there. Video is better but just look at the screenshot, the Morton players is wrapped round Eze… what on earth did the referee see there? He was awful all game.
  4. Jake had a good game but he’s always prone to an error or two… He should be aware of the boy literally right there, it’s just clumsy. I wasn’t sure at the time but that’s probably a fair penalty. Nae twa doots you could say.
  5. Meh, that wasn’t great Poor quality from both teams. Pointless long balls and misplaced passes. Some selfish decision making too. Brilliant goal from our new striker. The touch and finish was magic. Hopefully he has a strong run to the end of the season, we’ll need it. Dundee dropping points is fine, but it’s a missed opportunity really! All the teams will drop points in the remaining games so it’s entirely up to us.
  6. Better apology from the club today… also agreed to reimburse the fans. Why it took so long for that I have no idea. The cost of reimbursing fans, missing the 5th round fixture with Livi and possibly the QF income. What a loss!
  7. Are we chipping in for a F@ck the royal box banner? Perfect since we’re directly ahead of it with little shelter and rain coming in.
  8. The Members were asked to vote on a decision based on dodging the trap door. The quote from the President was “the best way to not be relegated from L2, is to not be in L2”. No one mentioned premiership football until Dempster arrived. Don’t get it twisted, the ride to this point has been great, but Dempster started the premiership chat and now that it’s time to deliver off the park, we’re severely lacking. She doesn’t take accountability for the stadium, errors like the Scottish Cup, lack of fan communication, the lack of strategic and forward planning. At some point the Chief Executive role has to be accountable for something.
  9. Friday was magic by the way, I thought everything went perfect from a QP perspective. The new lad Oakley looked very good and Davidson offered an assist basically. Squad depth is always nice. That probably did Davidson good because Dundee away was a tough one for him. Also buzzing with Shields debut. That’s a like for like replacement for Murray. Someone with legs and energy to buzz about up top as a lone striker and allow the other 3 attackers time to support. Ayr offered nothing for long spells. Very direct to Akinyemi but Fox and Kilday were magic, AGAIN. That partnership is so strong. It was interesting to see the team complexion with our starter striker sold but honestly we looked as good, if not better, than usual. I have no fears now with the 3 January signings, we’re maybe stronger which sounds daft after losing the lead goal scorer. Coyle and the boys putting on the style as per usual.
  10. I’ve not seen the interview you’re referring to but will try find it online. It’s the half time interview I assume. That’s scary stuff however if the super professional Chief Exec plan is to wing it. Dempster spoke about premiership football when she arrived in L2. Now there’s no plan if we get there years later? What the f**k does she actually do? I’m bemused at every turn with her, I find it so incompetent. As I’ve said in other posts, I can accept a volunteer making an error or two but this is a highly paid ‘professional’ that’s hindering our club rather than progressing it.
  11. Fridays fixture, for example, wouldn’t have generated as much income if it was sold out at 800. There will be far higher attendances to come, that’s for sure. We have people on the QP payroll earning a lot of money to make decisions restricting club growth. It’s not very good folks. Haughey won’t be around forever, I thought the plan was sustainability? Don’t get me started on the standing area. As far as I’m concerned that’s a class decision. Build a 40 seater for them but the hardcore don’t get an area to stand and, ye know, actually sing and encourage the team. It’s all backward and because Coyle, Beuker and the players are getting it right we should all shut up and do as we’re told. Right, moan done for today, I’m away out with the pooch, have a good Sunday Spiders.
  12. That's it confirmed then, we're out. Absolutely gutted for the players and travelling support in particular.
  13. Hence my point that QP didn’t postpone the game, it was the opponents pitch. The rule could consider that. Listen, I ain’t defending QP, I’m feckin ragin. I just find it frustrating.
  14. I think the rule is very harsh for a rescheduled game. If it was a replay then I can understand. I suppose there is a risk that teams would deliberately postpone games until players are signed, but it was our opponents pitch that couldn't fulfil the fixture. It is harsh in my opinion.
  15. Absolutely spot on. Have you not heard he’s having a child you monster? Thank him for the good times but your post is the reality. QP has been very very good to him.
  16. Best of luck to Murray. I’ve got some absolutely magic memories from his goals so thanks and farewell. Horrible for QP though, make no mistake about it. Top goal scorer lost during a title push. What a load of utter pish mentioning a baby for taking a deal hahaha! Footballers pick the best deal for them regardless of having a wain or not!! It’s a ruthless business and players need to look after themselves sometimes.
  17. Never had this hostility in League 2, these c***s are no right
  18. You'll need it to try for promotion again next year, kid. QP 2-0 on Saturday. In aboot these Hilltown tinks.
  19. £24 is utterly embarrassing for a Championship game. Purposely skipping fixtures and expensive ticket pricing, big red flags. I bet your wages measured against your income is quite scary, I do hope we skelp you for £24 man. No wonder you're projecting all the financial nonsense to us, your club is a fuckin mess.
  20. I wasn't surprised when the email arrived. I think around October/November I accepted this is us for the season. It's next season that concerns me. We will be the laughing stock if our house isn't in order, make no mistake about it. A yawn and a sigh is all the emotion I can muster when QP provide an update these days.
  21. I've been thinking this too. He speaks post-match about the journey and process but realistically if a bigger club with the right backing fancy Coyle, he'll be persuaded. It would be pretty special for his legacy if he could take a small club into the Prem and compete. I've told myself a few times to prepare for bigger clubs taking interest. The work he's done has been nothing short of excellent.
