Silly me mistaking you for Supercaleyman. I’m not however, looking for any look. Make foolish points and you’ll get ridiculed- see Kenny Miller yesterday.

This may be a serious topic to you, but I’ve got my feet up and am looking forward to seeing the fall out from this tie for either club.

Though my best wishes of course go to our friends from Hamilton.

Morton fans are a bit too serious I think I'd be a bit grumpy too if i supported Morton. Maybe in 20-30 years times ICT fans will be the same...

Supercaleyman’s contribution to the Morton game thread last week confirmed he’s not the brightest, so I wouldn’t say that him making a statement with a degree of certainty means an awful lot.

Him countering you doesn’t burst your bubble, it merely reaffirms the original point.

That was just a bit of banter 🤣 not to to be taken seriously in anyway 👍except Inverness is still nicer then Greenock sorry....

County have done this for as long as I can remember. Even going back to about 2004 or whatever I can remember going up to Dingwall and the attendance given was a complete fallacy.

Most teams at this level don't do it, though. Pretty sure Ayr's reported attendances are genuine.

Yes County have done it for years they're liars not to be trusted. OK I was wrong a bit about "all the teams" hold my hands up my point still stand about other teams trying to take the piss when they barely muster over 2k.

That goes for Greenock too 👍

It is what it is, just pointing it out. Anyways. We're not falkirk fans so best we all avoid crowd wanking before they are drawn here like moths to a flame.

Exactly in all seriousness fair play to anyone who supports a team outside the old firm 👏 I'll always respect it. Even County fans.

Our home attendances are shocking & I'll be the 1st to admit it we hardly fill the away stands either. But only fans of certain teams can proper take the piss cause like you said we're not Falkirk fans & we don't want to be like Falkirk fans. Unless your club is legit packing out your stadium & the away stands every week without fail then I don't think people can point & ridicule other teams attendances. That was pretty much my point.

We barely manage 2k most weeks the average attendances have gradually gone down over the seasons. I don't think the club is trying to make out we're packing the stands out so i don't see why people feel the need to make out like we're conning people into thinking we're a well supported club.

Ayr don’t pluck any old figure out of their heads when announcing their crowds though, so I wouldn’t read too much into those figures.

Hate to burst your bubble but every club does it. If you buy a ticket or you're gifted a ticket & you don't turn up the club will put you into the attendance anyway. Dross County do exactly the same. There was a few "reserved seats" when I was last in Dingwall.

I haven’t been paying much attention to it but my impression is that this years Hamilton team have been unlucky to have one of the best sides at that level for many years in their division. Their points total would have won them that league quite a few times.

Yeah they look a real threat tbf if it wasn't for invincible Falkirk they would've won league 1 comfortably. They'll be much more tougher then Montrose.

Seen that they finished their final league game against Kelty Hearts with 11 academy players which is impressive something ICT need to look at instead our chairman wants to scrap our youth academy

It involved 6 goals in 90 minutes, not 1 goal in 180 minutes. You’d need to be a masochist to watch Caley this season.

I'd rather watch us beat a part time team 1-0 over 2 legs then get thrashed 5-1 by Motherwell at home.

County aren't exactly having a great season themselves. Sacked their racist manager after a poor start hired Derek Adams who then had a public meltdown. You going on about how crap our football is?. Dross County were playing so bad Derek threw the team & the rest of Scottish football under the bus, ruined his reputation in a matter of months that's how bad County were.

    And quite rightly so.

There's a feral element to some of our support and they would be well advised to give sober reflection to their own actions.

The individual who launched a missile that struck the referee on the head last Friday is a perfect example of the kind of infantile behaviour that has tipped over to the actions of a criminal.

It wasn't just the drunken hooligans/ultras shouting at him. Well respected fans who had been going to games for years who's father's have been supporting the club since the Caledonian days. Fans from all walks of life were fed up that day. Big Dunc thought it was a great idea to come up to us like a patronising git.

Nick Montgomery got a bit of scrutiny for it recently so why should Dunc get let off?? Except Nick didn't try n argue with the fans he took the pelters actually applauded the fans & went back to the dressing room as awkward as it might've looked he handled it well enough. Dunc on the other hand tried to argue that we should be content with a 1-0 lose cause we were down to 10 men?? Like I said he was being patronising & rightfully got told where to go.

  8. Man that was fucking brutal. One of the worst away performances I've ever seen from ICT. Fair play to Montrose they were really good I think we've underestimated them a bit too much. Worrying about Hamilton or Alloa when Montrose are a decent side themselves.

Rather concerning from a ICT perspective must do better  on Saturday Reminds me a lot off when we went away to Edinburgh City in the cup & struggled quite a bit on their plastic pitch drawing 1-1. They came up for the Replay & it was like a totally different game we beat them 6-1.

Can only hope something similar happens on Saturday but I'm not holding my breath... certainly not expecting us to score more then twice.

They’re just forward planning for what they’ll do with the plot once the stadium needs to be demolished in the near future.

We can go bust end of the season County still won't achieve what ICT have achieved. 1st Highland team to win the Scottish Cup & a major honour. 1st Highland team to compete in Europe 🇪🇺 1st Highland team to compete in the top flight. 1st Highland team to finish 3rd in the Premiership. 1st Highland Team to Beat Celtic & Rangers home & away. 1st Highland team to win the Challenge Cup. & we didn't need moneybags Mcgregor to do it.

Incredible that of the last seven clubs elected into the SFL, four of them came from the Highlands (or at least Highland League), two came from the borders and the last was newco Rangers.

I do wonder how, with such inherent bias in the game to the central belt, and west coast in particular, Highland clubs managed to defy the odds and get into the national set up long before a pyramid was put in place to facilitate movement.

    1 hour ago, Toby said:

    Nope, complete bollocks.

You’re the one who chose to allude to an anti-Highland bias in the present tense when in actual fact, it was a full thirty years ago that the first two Highland clubs were voted into the national set-up, we’ve had another two since, and the pyramid is now opened up to allow any club in (or back out as will hopefully be the case for Inverness with the money drying up).

I’d congratulate you on replying too, but let’s be honest, it would probably have been better if you hadn’t bothered.

I refer you to the above. If Sophia wants to refer to the current attitudes towards Highland clubs’ participation when in fact, they’ve had more than their fair share of opportunities for a full 30 years now, then he/she quite rightly deserved to be pulled for it.

    What a load of crap.

Highland teams have been defying the odds for decades. Look at Buckie Thistle this season denied a chance at the play offs even though 5 teams already in the SFL have the same license as them. One of these 5 teams actually have a chance of getting into the Premiership.

Look at your buddy earlier County haven't even been relegated & we haven't even confirmed our status in the Championship & he's already moaning about trips to the Highlands next season.

Cove for example aren't even a Highland team they just played in the Highland league cause they're a northern team.

Peterhead is another one wouldn't class them as Highlanders.

The only real Highland team that's been promoted to the SFL since 1994 is Elgin.

Maybe a bit selfish, but on behalf of the championship I hope we send ICT down. The potential for trips to RossCo and the highland rangers taking up 4 away games is too much to contemplate!

4 potential away games where you have to travel more then 100 miles cry me a river. We gotta do it every 2 weeks!

Still hope for staying up ya reckon ICT fans?

Wouldn't want a relegation for ICT. Would be terrible for the Highlands in general and want the derby back ASAP!

Play offs will be tricky I can see us beating Montrose but Hamilton or Alloa worry me especially Hamilton 😬

I can actually see Airdrie beating QP or at least holding them to a draw but we've won at home 6 times this season in all competitions so I'm far from confident we'll get the result we need even if Airdrie do us a favour

Beaten by 5 goals at home by a team that had only 1 point out of their previous four games seems to give some substance to Fergusons remarks on Arbroath 'players downing tools on their club and manager' after relegation confirmed.

Doubt we'll see a Statement from the Arbroath Board.

Aye Arbroath have completely chucked it since they got relegated  by us a a few weeks ago which hasn't helped our cause. Same time though we only have ourselves to blame. We have to deal with our own business & we haven’t done that

Can't really blame Arbroath their season is done & not in a good way. Their players aren't going to be diving into tackles giving 100% when they're probably working a part time job during the week as well they just want this season done.

Also sounds like the dressing room is a shambles right now.

Samuel's not much of a goalscorer, but good a bringing the ball forward. McKay is good in front of goal, works hard deeper, but doesn't have the creative ability.

I don't know what Ferguson's thinking, but not putting the right mix of attacking players available to him in the right positions, has been our biggest weakness under him. And why we are where we are

Exactly this. When you have a sqaud like ours with few quality players you have to play to our strengths something that Big Dunc hasn't done too well... you have to get the roles right. Look at Austin Samuels for example hardly phenomenal as a striker but he's got loads of pace something we lack up front. Dunc won't even give him a minute off the bench... instead he'll throw Pepples on who isn't that fast at all.

Near the end of the games we are crying out for pace just throw him on for 10 or 20 minutes.

I was more pissed off that we didn’t replace him rather than actually letting him go.

💯 himself, Carson & Wotherspoon although McAllister looked like he was getting better & was the replacement for Wotherspoon we were looking for. Then he got injured & sent back to Everton. He wouldn't have been as good as Wotherspoon but he could've filled that attacking midfielder role

We didn't even know Cammy Kerr could play in midfield when we signed him so if Dunc or the club try & make out he was Welsh's replacement all along they can f**k off with that. Samson looks decent so far but he was signed as an emergency to replace Gilmour way after we got rid of Welsh.

  16. 2 hours ago, Arachnophile said:

You may be right, but so far, we have played 13 games since he joined & the only one he has missed was the one where he was suspended & he has played the full 90 minutes in all but 3 of them (one of these due to red card)

    So, so far so good.

You'll get months when he's fit then he'll pick up an injury where's he's on the sidelines for ages. He's already had his long term injury this campaign so you should be good till end of the season.

What pissed a lot of ICT fans off including myself is that we let him go on a free transfer to one of our relegation rivals when he was actually fit. He actually wanted to leave in all fairness he had his house up for sale & everything but he would've stayed till the Summer to help us avoid the drop but like Carson we forced them both out prematurely.

Lot of the games where we lost or threw away points by drawing we could've done with him in midfield getting a grip of the game. Fortunately for us we had his & Sheridans number on Saturday.

It's not over yet though I can see us losing to Morton on the final day thanks to a George Oakley goal & Queens beating Airdrie after a Welsh scremer sending ICT to the relegation play offs we'll have to see how it goes....

Loanee players can shrug their shoulders and go back to their clubs in the summer and put it down to a bad experience. Contracted 1st team players who were pushed out by preference from the manager will have given up knowing they are not wanted and be looking around for another club next season. I very much think the momentum and positive mental attitude is going to be with the L1 club even Montrose and the possibility of a humiliating gubbing over 2 legs is very much real. I didn't think it could get any worse than with Dodds at the start of the season, but here we are now in that position for this event to take place.

Our game on Saturday will be the most important game in the club's history up to this point. Must win, a draw is not good enough.

We're not THAT bad to be fair we've got one of the best defences in the league it's our midfield & Attack that have really hampered us this season so I can't see us getting thrashed 3-0.  However I can see us losing 1-0 or going out on penalties cause we can't score or get a grip of the midfield. The loan players won't be wanting ICT to go down  it's not a good look for them same with any other player that's wanting to leave. Keep the club up go onto your next chapter knowing you did your job 👏 your next manager can see that as well.

If Dodds was still in charge Arbroath would still be in with a chance of staying up. Ferguson isn't miles better but he's picked up points Dodds would've lost

Next year, Duncan Ferguson needs to stop showing this league so much respect. He's setting us up like a lower half EPL team like Everton when we should be using Liverpool-type tactics, for example.

It worked months ago against Dundee Utd & he's stuck with it ever since. Problem is it only works in certain games. 7 out of 10 we need to be taking the game to them having more players up front not playing with 5 at the back

I fully expect despite the complete underestimation of Falkirk swatting Montrose aside last week, that Falkirk will easily be in the Championship playoffs next season and we could end up on the end of a 3-0 pumping at Links Park in the playoff semi finals with only 2 shots at goal from us in the whole game with our negative tactics and preferencial lonee Lowland League player standard. I think people overestimate how poor the Championship is right now and that there is a clear overlap in quality with the two leagues.

I can't see us getting thrashed 3-0 to be fair but I can see us drawing 0-0 or 1-1 & going out on penalties
