You'd hope it would never come to either of those two to be honest, particularly Harris. Aye, it's realistically only McKee who even has a sniff of a shot at being in a squad even. What happened to that Ciaran Dunne guy ? Didn't think he was awful, all things considered.

Don't think we can afford to discount any of the squad, depending on how the new arrivals do. Beggars can't be choosers. If he's better than what's playing he needs considered.

The one bright spot about this league is the same as the fear factor bit about it. It's a ton of teams that look much of a muchness. That means no one is likely to be much worse or better than us. Anything from about 2nd to 2nd bottom looks feasible. Tight as f**k. Will be little things like that disallowed goal and last minute winners that make a huge difference.

I'm fine with this strategy even if it doesn't work. Was worth the punt. We've had a decade of mediocrity under the previous academy plus jobbers plan.
