As has been said we haven’t a hope in hell in getting Ross. Some media outlets were touting him as an outsider for the Scotland job not so long ago once McLeish was sacked. I wouldn’t be surprised if another English League 1/2 side take a punt with him if not he will head home to Hibs/Hearts/St Johnstone.

Excitement used to build towards the end of the week looking forward to a Saturday fixture but recently it’s a case of waking up on a Saturday and wondering if I can be arsed. Never felt so low about my club or disillusioned. Hoping it will return but McKinnon is certainly not helping!!

I think Cove was realistically the only job Hartley was going to get considering his Father in laws job is Director of Football there. Not sure anyone else would touch him after his disastrous time with us!

It’s plainly obvious that any successful businessman worth his salt would stay off Twitter, acting like an attention seeking teenager. Dumbarton were brutal. They will be in and around relegation. Their best player yesterday was probably McKee which says it all. In saying that we played some lovely one touch football at times. Defence strolled it although last 10-15 mins we seemed to lose control of the middle of the park. Had to laugh at poor Dixon, the one time he had the beating of their defender and was getting to the by line to cross the ref tackled him. Strange the bounce ball was given straight back to us, must be a new rule. Stronger challenges to come but expect us to have it wrapped up by February/March.

I’m hoping for more than functional in League One once the season starts proper.

How many games have you seen him play to make that assumption? Absolutely dreadful player!

I might be wrong but I thought Blackburn Rovers took him down for a week to have a look at him about 18 months ago. His stock has fallen a bit since then if that was the case.
