  1. It’s hard getting to grips with the new players, my first look at them. It’s about the 4th or 5th new team in a few seasons. Will take me a few games to get all their names right. Lol. Anyway the wee RB is a scrapper, was wanting to fight everyone, great to watch his commitment, was shouting at everyone to mark at their corners. Squared up to there huge number 6, funniest part of the game. Tidser looked a bit sluggish but his fitness will come and Johnstone should have buried his chance two yards out. Not sure what to think because we were up against a Prem team. Shame never got to see Sibbs on the pitch. Keeper looks solid and big Sammon got off the ground to win headers unlike Haber. Overall very scrappy game.
  2. Kidd is brutal. Been to reserve games and he doesn’t even stand out there. Can play in different positions but none of them effectively. McKinnon has hardly played him so not sure where he stands in his plans for next season now we are down. Maybe a squad player in League 1 at best.
  3. As much as I believe most of the players lack any footballing ability, Paton as a prime example, it can’t be much fun walking into training everyday disliking your manager and his methods and actually thinking he is a p***k. Edibairn got slated on here for insinuating that Hartley had fallen out with every player and the tea lady but I’m beginning to think he wasn’t far wrong. There is something seriously wrong inside our club right now and a more affable and approachable manager would surely get more out of these players. If Hartley stays we are heading for League 1. Alloa aren’t Brechin and will take points off other teams unlike us!! Very insightful interview from Jordan McGhee.
  4. I was told that by a few old boys (maybe the same 2), sitting near me on Saturday at the game that Hartley has given him some sort of ultimatum but I just glossed over it as the usual pish you hear from the stands now and again!
  5. Dallison was extremely dodgy against ICT but I would still retain him alongside Aero for me.
  6. Hope to be proved wrong but after seeing him 3 times in the flesh this season can’t see how Paton is an improvement on anything that has been binned or is the answer to our problems. I would like to see Sammut given a chance against Partick. Looking forward to Saturday and a few scoops down Byers Road and a much improved performance and a change in personnel in defence.
