Great result for Darvel, yes, but they should have scored six or seven. Armour was outstanding in first half for Darvel. One mystery for me with this Darvel team - what's with the "back to the wall" stuff and making things diffuicult for themselves? Hung on for dear life last week against Neilston and even cruising this week at 3-1, if Kilsyth had got lucky anything could have happened. Darvel need to "turn the screw until it bleeds then turn it again". Anyway, congratulations to the new management team - onwards and upwards!

I've been here since the 50s and 60s when Wee Peem and Big Jim Gray were the "stars" and Darvel were beating teams like Park head in the Scottish Cup. But you won't know about those days. Just had a look at your posts. You're certainly not one of the good people - or is this just banter?

A bit of respect, please. Big improvements at Recreation Park - on and off the park - and it's all down to The Legend. He's only made one mistake - and no doubt had his reasons - and that was sacking the manager last season because they were doing okay at the time. However, good luck to him and all involved at a reborn Darvel Juniors. Banter is banter but please show some respect.

Darvel were well beaten on Saturday - in all departments. Even the Benburb dugout was more enthusiastic than Darvel's, the away team officials giving non-stop encouragement to their players rather than the opposite from the homesters. Do the new signings need time to settle? Or are they over the hill? Why is Armour not in the starting line-up? Early days at Darvel so let's hope that, rather than walking away, everyone pulls together to lift themselves out of what is fast becoming a crisis.

Come on, Forget the nonsense about the songs, let's concentrate on the football. Darvel earned a good point on Saturday and deserved another on Wednesday. Allow their new players a settling in time and look for more against Benburb this weekend. Lots of good things happening at Recreation Park so lets enjoy them.
