  1. Off topic but do the falkirk daft boys have info on why the Latapy night is postponed? Is this likely to turn into a shambles now or is the event company proper legit? Thanks and apologies if been answered earlier.
  2. In regards to Morrison I'm really torn on him. Yes when on form he can be exciting to watch and has good numbers from last season. I think he's capable of more but I guess that's why he's in league 1. On the other hand he's now been part of several failed league campaigns so he can not be excluded from being part of the problem. I don't think we'll get any better than him and can only hope he might kick on a bit more next year by being much more consistent.
  3. Squad is looking really quite poor at the moment. I hope he has some really half decent signings lined up. Let's not forget the mentality of the majority of those who remain from last season. They just don't have it in them. Quite happy for McGinn to stay around. He had some pretty decent games but other times just as mediocre as the rest. We need more. I didn't see a big captains performance from him on the horror show that Tuesday night. Oliver certainly wont be the difference in us getting promoted.
  4. What could possibly go wrong? A hefty loan given to a group where let's be honest their is a lack of accountability by the people who developed it. You only need to see that with the no chairman on the Club side of things. It hasn't worked out how they hoped so now borrowing money to make their dream happen.
  5. Algeria looked torture when he signed, I think many of us completely wrote him off after several failed attempts then he had that incident as described above but he turned out OK. Not as good as made out and loved a dive.
  6. We aren't going anywhere under McGlynn, as said above, the football isn't entertaining. Pass a million times round the defence, eventually pass to a winger who swings a ball in the box to that non existent typical striker who gets on the end of crosses. Everything is slow, slow, slow. The younger managers have already had the beating of McGlynn this season. I fail to see how this will change going into next season. As far as the players go, we are in big trouble. They have proved they bottle pretty much every meaningful game they play in. A lot of them can't be excused by age, the majority are at an age they should be able to deal with it. I think we are sitting with a squad of players with a poor mentality.
  7. I'm far from ready to move on from that Tuesday night. Quite simply the worst ever and everyone involved will be remembered for the wrong reasons. McGlynn will stay after that sackable offence however I feel we could find ourselves off the pace by Nov, have to sack him then and another season ruined.
  8. Henderson back at CH would be farcical. He was dire when playing there. Never looked comfortable and always making mistakes. Add that to playing alongside Donaldson who also makes mistakes on a every game basis then we'll be in trouble if that's the plan next season.
  9. Donaldson is garbage and his attitude stinks. Get rid.
  10. Good post. Especially the bit about CH's. Both are murder and we really need to consider other options.
  11. Just a load of nonsense from McGlynn, he has taken a softer approach in not totally blaming the fans this time but still couldn't help himself saying how folk need to understand how hard it is juggling under contract players and getting new signings. Well he's made plenty of his own signings so that doesn't wash. The embarrassment he has caused in this playoff alone is sacking material. Get rid. I also hate reading other fans talk about weaker leagues and next season will be our time. We are established league 1 now, let's keep quiet and see where the season takes us. Probably disappointment again under McGlynn.
  12. The players have proved since Dunfermline away they don't have a winners mentality. The majority of them are losers. I could almost let them away with that poor performance at Hampden given the occasion but Tuesday night was down right unacceptable. The players seem to have no professional pride about them and McGlynn no clue. How I'd love for them to really prove me wrong today. Not going to happen!
  13. Throw Watson in tomorrow. None of the others can be trusted.
  14. Come on its all about giving the guys an easy ride tomorrow.
  15. Clear deflection tactic. Trying to buy goodwill early before tomorrow.
  16. Have to agree with other posters that the board are getting an easy time. This is their 2nd bad managerial appointment, blew money on LG, very close to signing to Goodwillie. Previous regimes would have been slaughtered.
  17. There is no point in us being cautious on Sat, McGlynn simply has to send us out attacking as possible, try and get a quick couple of goals and hope Airdrie can't deal with it just like our losers on Tuesday night. Even when we in affect had a 2 man advantage when they got the keeper sent off we showed no urgency or desire at all. Saying that it doesn't matter how many we score as we will concede. Our defence are hopeless. We all seem to forget Airdrie hit the bar as well. I really can't stand Donaldson at the moment. He does this big act like he really cares, shouting and throwing his arms about but he's as bad as the rest. I would genuinely throw Watson in on Sat. An experienced head who won't do any worse. McGlynn simply has to go for that performance on Tues. His team, his tactics, his lack of accountability.
  18. Has anyone contacted the club for refunds of tickets? Not sure if you can even get one?
  19. McGinn can do one as well. Every player on that park for that 45 mins is a disgrace to the shirt.
  20. McGlynns interview is a disgrace as well. No accountability on his behalf. Get him out.
  21. Mcglynn has to go. To not react and make anybody change before half time is a stackable offence. His record with us stinks.
