Great to see the momentum pick up, long may it continue! Never get too high with wins, never too low with defeats (something a good few on this are horrendous for!) Must stay behind the lads and DY- seem to have created a real team feel, fighting for one and other right to the 90th+ minute this season. SS

Great for Darren, coaching staff and the players starting to get what they deserve from games! Following on from previous posts everyone who played was fantastic. Chris Kane at cb i thought was excellent, Court and Watt going forward were too and the Watson/Dunsmore combination on the right look an great pairing! Here's hoping the momentum continues!! SS

At last.... finishing a game with the points we deserve! All defensive players and Brett were solid throughout and they helped each other whenever one of the few mistakes were made. Fantastic two goals, great strike for the first and brave commitment from Court (who i feel has came on to a great game since Cowden) for the second. Was frustrating to see the shape of the team change in the second half as the one up top was then left with a thankless task- however the team showed an amazing desire to keep the clean sheet. Can see what the victory meant to the players by watching their reaction at the full time whistle! Shame the league fixtures now have to take a break however hoping the momentum carries on after the Thistle game.

Great game yesterday, shame about the ref however! The two strikers were more than a handful for their defence, Agnew- my motm- showed everyone what he is capable of (if they never knew already) and Watson was quality at the back, again. Nice to see Thompson showing more of his potential yesterday, looks like he needs game time for his confidence to grow. Said it before and will say it again-EF will be just fine this season.

So instead of the “are you at the wind up” patter, what you meant was I agree with you however the cm area could do with some strengthening too.. I think Davidson will be a big player for the team this year, great fitness levels and looks to play forward. Moving Watson beside him would be interesting however he and Meggat seem to be one of the only two who are working well together.

Hello fellow fifers, new to this so be gentle! Followed EF for a number of seasons now. So far this season back 4 have looked solid, not one game have they been cut open out with the odd chance yesterday- Linton coming back should only strengthen it further. Attacking is the real concern, no quality in the final third esp wide areas! Perhaps good loan signings of a couple of wingers/strikers will sort things out. Earlys days, will be just fine this season in my opinion. Goals needed asap however.
