Catherine decided to take a header off the bed today when she tried to sit down on it by jumping in the air and didn't realise it would shoot her away like a bouncey ball. Bloodied nose and lots of tears and screaming. Lunatic.

Fraser is getting stronger every day. Long way to go still, but tomorrow he'll be two weeks old and is back over his birth weight and has no tubes on him now other than his feeding tube. Wee fighter.

Neonatal care is superb.    Fraser is clearly thriving and breathing for himself, but it's peace of mind to know they've oxygen there for any destat.

Hopefully you've been claiming Neonatal expenses?    I think my biggest claim was around £115 a week.

Wheelie bins all over my street this morning, and the gate down the side of my house has blown clean off its hinges.

Meant to be going to Belfast tomorrow, A75 shut just now with downed trees and the ferries have been cancelled.

Also, my gym is closed due to a power cut so that’s my afternoon plans done.

GET ON THE BEVVY.

Folk are heavily over estimating the ability of a handbrake here, I've been sat in traffic, in neutral, with the handbrake on, and been shunted almost ten yards. It depends entirely on how fast you're hit.

Fiat 500s have drum brakes on the back too (although I see the words Abarth, so that'll be disk), which makes the handbrake even worse.

Any civilised ( Asian ) cars still using drum brakes or timing belts ?

Okay, I was getting away from the rozzers after 48 hr coke and heroin bender. Happy now.
No, it was genuinely a sneeze. Poor guy was really apologetic and his insurers rang me about an hour later to see if there was anything I needed. He'd also pranged a car parked at the side of the road so it would be an expensive one for his insurers with 4 pranged cars to pay for.

I took a sneezing fit and ran into the back of a lexus a couple of years ago. Happened in the November, poor guy didn't get it back until the end of December. Fibreglass body. My motor was a write off.

Did you get minor womens' whiplash?

Well. That was a bit of a day. After HSF's waters breaking two weeks ago she felt cramping this morning about 11am. Called hospital told to go in at 3pm. Baby boy born at 4.34pm weighing 2lbs 15ozs. From being wheeled into labour ward to him being born was about 20 minutes. Breathing on his own which is a good sign. He's in SCBU just now for up to 10 weeks so we're at the start of a long fight to get him fit enough to come home. Been an emotional last 14 weeks as it was with HSF pretty much couch bound in pain but now we've hopefully turned a corner on that front and we can concentrate on the wee man and his daily fight to get to full health. Hospital have been amazing. Thank f**k for the NHS. HSF been an absolute trooper and couldn't be more proud of her. Home now for some sleep and back in tomorrow to see her and the wee man.

Congrats mate.

The Neonatal Expenses fund  ( NEF ) should help with expenses and the NHS is a fantastic, fantastic thing.

6. "A meal Deal"  I ruddy love it!   It has alliteration and everything.    The idea being you're getting a deal on a meal.

On my binge day off my Quavers diet I like to visit Ocean Terminal cinema for luncheon.    The beauty is because they've foolishly placed the food outlet before you show ticket, you can grab yourself a tasty bargain and patch the cinema visit.   I do it; I'm sure others do.

Last week I grabbed a hot dog/ juice meal deal and still get change from a tenner!

Then I returned to the car and listened to the very best of Del Amitri.

I Don't remember saying I would vote yes, maybe I did, memory fades a bit in later years. I would be quite happy to remain in the UK under a Labour government. But as that seems unlikely, then I would indeed consider voting yes. Financially I would be better off down south, but that's not my main concern.

Delighted to read that you're not closed off to the option of Scottish independence.    How you vote in the future is of course entirely up to yourself.

Congrats to Bairnardo for 500 plus green rep points in a single week.    I remember years ago when they said this wasn't possible, but posters change, posters evolve, and the bar is raised.
Huge congrats to you and your family!

Probably just posted loads of pictures of pints of Tennents.

Nout wrong with a pint of T.    Bought a bottle of that Hop House thing which might ( or might not be Tennents ) and it was kitchen drained out my life.

I just fill until it cuts out. f**k going more often than you need too.

You're a manager.  Not everyone has your enormous wealth ( I do ) to invest in petroleum.

Visiting a Petrol station is such a joyous experience.   Today I learnt every JET petrol station provide you with a free air freshener with every £10 spend at the pumps.   Got 4 of the wee fresheners strategically positioned in my Ceed.
