I think Newman will be in goals until we get a new keeper signed. Birighitti won’t be involved IMO, just be a bit of brinkmanship until they agree on a deal for him to leave. When we get another keeper in and he becomes third choice hopefully that will be the hint he needs!

Yeah. Needs decent players around him. Capable of playing great passes and through balls and scoring spectacular goals. Can go missing for long spells when the going gets tough. Injured quite a lot too. £350k could be an absolute bargain.

You'll have folk like Pawlett or Fletcher probably sticking around as they're on there last biggish paydays. (Fletcher will be an excellent player in the Championship).
McGrath is only on loan so he’ll be away back to Wigan - he’s been disappointing anyway. I think Middleton will stay. Levitt and Behich will probably want away, but we should be asking fees for them (albeit won’t get much).
Fletcher will possibly stick around if he thinks his body is up to it.
Birighitti was hopefully placed on the first flight to Australia after full time today and should never be spoken of again.

Sadly thanks to our wonderful recruitment team our options are an unproven youngster in goal, who in his only league start conceded 4 including 1 where he was largely culpable (still my preferred option) and no real striking options thanks to the failure to replace Watt or Clark (Anaku not ready for this level).
Assuming we stick to the same formation I wouldn’t mind seeing Niskanen in front of Behich to see if they can form a pairing.
