  1. Jesus a "" John McGlynn being at the club would obvisously have played a part in Ethan Ross signing for the Rovers like any player signing for any club, but its not like him leaving means thats it for him at the Rovers to even suggest that is mental! If he leaves its going to be to better his career at a better level with better wages. Some people on here seem to have a messiah complex when it comes to McGlynn, hes no exactly setting the wold alight the mans at league one falkirk right now.
  2. This forum is an absolute laugh a minute! Ethan Ross only signed with us because McGlynn was here. pretty sure when McGlynn left folk we're saying hes going to take all our out of contract players to 6th place league one Falkirk too, and not one did. He's not Jurgen Klopp or Pep Guardiola lads, he's just a decent lower league manager.
  3. Full time clubs are struggling to sign players as full time players are able to make more money playing part time and working full time and.... Part time teams in the leagues are struggling to sign players due to clubs in the Lowland league being able to offer the same or more on wages. This definitely effects us and probably every mid to bottom of the table championship side.
  4. On Wednesday night there was a section booing after a friendly loss to QoS, couldn't believe what I was heading made me question who would be booing a friendly loss by the looks of the comments its people in this thread Get a grip you utter panic merchants.
  5. We won't see the best of Vaughany this season. if his ACL injury takes him 10 months to recover from its likey to take another 8-10 months for the muscle and ligaments in his leg to get back to full strength. This season should be looked at a bonus having him involved this season, but hopefully Murray and Agnew manage his minutes and training accordingly so we can get him back to his best next season.
  6. Notting odd about it. Brody lives in Kirkcaldy, Worked with the manager so he may well be training with us out of convenience. then again he may well be our starting left back this comming season... time will tell.
  7. Suprised to see a few saying young was poor, I thought the young lad did well in whats clearly not a balanced defence. the lads just turned 18 and is still very much learning the game IMO him, Arron Arnott and Kieran Mitchell look like they will have decent careers. On the game its self I thought Rovers were decent (defensive howler aside), Queens Squad seemed further advanced in both preparation and numbers. We played alot more football in the oppositions half rather than our own. Still alot of issues to be addressed. we lacked a bit of width and getting some strikes off earlier rather than overplaying it.
  8. Speaking about offers, Brodys Mum and Dad were stood next to me said that hes considering his options with a few offers on the table already wouldn't say if we were one of them but the fact he got game time would indicate we have. Looked very good going foward, despite Liam Dick constantly having a go at him for pushing up.
  9. On Ryan Schiavone he started out as a winger, played at various youth levels with Scotland local lad from Lochgelly. Not 1st team ready but is a much better prospect than the likes of Coulson and Mahady.
  10. Jim Foy and I are now twitter pals, so Im I now a time served Rovers fan ?
  11. If you don't know who Jim foy is then you ain't a Raith fan. Been around the club for the 30+ years I've supported them. The good old days of the supports busses from Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy. Jim used to run the Kirkcaldy busses. Another P&B hard man eh!? I have no idea who Jim Foy is, so im no a Rovers fan?
  12. I hear theres plans afoot for next season with a banner saying " Raith Hard Men On Twitter " "Does the Hard man Roverthemoon fi P&B you want a square go?"
  13. No generally a left footed centre half will play on the right side and a right footer on the right hand side, to help with ball rotaton.
  14. Im amazed people on here are claiming Dicks good defensively, has everyone forgot his disaster class against Ayr ?
  15. You couldn't be more wrong, again if you'd take the time to ask the lad you would find out what his issues were and why he was so down about this season.
  16. If you don't like confrontation then you don't anonymously make snide comments. And all of your above reasoning is the act of a coward. If your issue is him hating on his own team then go speak to the boy and ul quickly find out what his issues are rather than spouting off behind his back where ul learn nothing
  17. Correct he's put his name to it, yet cowards on here like to anonymously call people out on there options. If you have one or want to make sly digs then at least have the courage to use your own name. This forum is littered with cowards haply calling people out hiding behind fake names.
  18. Why not reply to the lad on twitter instead of taking a screen shot and putting it on this app like an utter coward ?
  19. Gk- Jammer Right back-Tumilty CB - Bene CB- Berra Left back - Young Centre mid - Tait Centre mid - Spencer Att Mid - Vaughany Left wing - Zanatta Right wing - Connolly Striker - Keatings 4-2-3-1 as we played the majority of last season and in pre season thus far.
  20. Do you mean Atlético Madrid ?… Or Athletic Club ?
  21. Bounce game with all young lads, the club looking to sign up to 7 of them… not sure if are running a youth set up or reserves this season but certainly sounds like there gearing up towards that end.
  22. Ive been told that we’re organising a bounce game on monday at starks, to play played by trialists all young lads with JMcG looking to sign up to 7 of them. Does anyone know if we’re planning on running a youth team/reserve squad this season?
