  1. A blend of youth & experience? They've been solid at the back all season and now found their shooting boots! Agree on Camelon. Too strong, and too much money!
  2. Astonished at Preston considering the experience they have! They'll survive but interesting Kinoull & Lochore's only wins were against Preston! Crossgates should be thereabouts but a fixture backlog (Fife weather!) and seeing Nitten beat them 1st game of the season makes me think they'll just miss out!
  3. It's looking increasingly likely that the promotion spots will be 3 from 6, relegation 3 from 10 teams. Early in the season, i know, but this has been the trend since the off. For me, Camelon, Bo'ness & Nitten will go up, Kinnoull, Lochore & Edinburgh South will go down. Thoughts?
  4. Bizarre game at Nitten today. 5-3 HT. 5-3 FT. Briggs looked decent, particularly 1st half. Nitten have looked light up top all season considering the chances they've created.
  5. Bit harsh on Nitten who coud have been out of sight after 25 minutes. They missed a few chances, mainly caused by their pressing and poor WW possession. WW came into game as the 1st half progressed and got a soft, but correct, penalty. Nitten's 2nd goal wasn't "given". A great cross, beautifully finished. In 5 league games, Nitten have only conceded one goal from open play - not "up their game" material. They're a very young side, particularly offensively, but they'll get better and comfortably deserved to win on Saturday. I don't recollect a single chance for WW in the 2nd half. Crossgates have hit a bit of form, but Nitten beat them 3-1 on opening day. No doubt Camelon & Bo'ness will be challenging and are likely to be promoted, but Nitten must be delighted how they've started their league season.
  6. A thumping 6-0 win for Bo'ness Athletic tonight against fellow promoted team, Edinburgh South, with all the goals coming in the 2nd half! Who's going to stop them winning this division.......in a canter!? Played 3, won 3, +15 goals!
  7. Defences on top. Both teams look light in final 3rd. Nice evening though!
  8. Well done to Broxburn in winning the Championship. It looked their trophy a long way from home, and ultimately a success fully deserved! Overall, disappointing seasons for Sauchie, Jeanfield and Musselburgh. The latter probably have the biggest budget in the league, yet celebrate 2nd in the league tonight as a victory, yet the remit was undoubtedly a league win!
  9. "Star drop another 2 points", or Star gained a point against a rejuvenated Leith side unbeaten at home since November!!! St Andrews are in the driving seat, no doubt, but you appear inconsistent of late. Look forward to seeing you at Nitten next week!
