    What an absolute roaster.

I'm watching Motherwell v Rangers mate, not a history channel special on the fucking dambusters.

That song, as with 90% of old firm song books, shouldnt be acceptable at the football in 2022.

Eh ! Hello, it’s you that started it.

And if you would bother to check facts out, the song wasn’t written for the Dambusters film.

Watching Gallagher & Besuijen digging up the penalty spot whilst other players argued about the penalty decision was one of the most pathetic spectacles I've seen at Pittodrie since this shite spell began around 28 years ago.

The fact that this 'team' still had an opportunity (well mathematically at least) to make the Top 6 until finally being put out of our misery this afternoon is testament to the lack of quality in this sub-standard League.

We SPL fans are the biggest mug punters in the world. That shite 'product' isn't worth a £5 let alone £25.

You have hit the nail on the head!

Quote! Since this s...e spell began 28 years ago.

Aberdeen should be top three four every year, why not? Lack of ambition and proper investment.

Your stadium is sadly lacking in atmosphere, take a look at Hearts stadium, Aberdeen should just do a carbon copy.

My serious point was, what game were some of you watching?

Aberdeen had two attempts  on target, Ross County had one.

    Hardly the Alamo effect.

If it’s any comfort, I don’t think Aberdeen will get relegated.

8And it could be worse, you could be a Saint Johnstone supporter at Parkhead today.

I well remember those dark days standing on the cinder terracing and drunks pishing where they stood, then we had the cans full of pish thrown over the crowd from the back, thankfully most of that has disappeared and at my club we have a bar on the outside of the stadium where all fans, home and away can enjoy a drink before the game.

According to some, probably not alcohol at the cause of this.

Yes. I remember the dark days , no more cinders , but still Clowns ready to launch any missile ready in their hand.

People being pished at the football is not why grounds are not at capacity every week.

Shouting obscenities at opposition fans is something that I quite enjoy with our game, it's harmless one-up-manship. Show me a fan who has not done this in a Premiership game. This has also nothing to do with being pished.

Fuckin shite you come away with.

JohnyDump rises to the bait again.

Did someone read this out for you?

    You clearly misread to statement.

Go and get yourself educated, Oh and grow up while your at it.

    Cause or aggravating factor?

I've been pished at the football loads, as have a great many people i know. As far as i know, the worst anyone i know has behaved is shouting obscenities at opposition fans, who by and large deserve it.

If alcohol was the root cause of arseholery i'd expect it would have manifested by now.

The root cause of people behaving like arseholes is people being arseholes.

Great new fashion, get p....d,  go to a football match and shout  obscenities at opposition fans.

Or meet Dundee fans on thill for a scrap!

I  normally go to watch the players on the park trying to score goals.

And people are wondering how the vast majority of football grounds in Scotland are not at capacity every week.

That is absolute shite, do you honestly believe that racism or sectarianism would not be part of football or wider society without alcohol?

Do try and read the post properly.

Flares, pitch invasions, and of course throwing "empty alcohol bottles", clue is in the last one.

So! throwing empty alcohol bottles onto the park has nothing to do with drinking alcohol or being drunk?

Fact,  alcohol is and always has been the root cause of of the majority of incidents at football matches.

  9. 1 hour ago, Merkland Red said:

How is that stopping them taking in bottles?

Correct, it would not stop them taking in bottles.

These so called supporters are clearly making every effort to deceive the security staff.

And don’t give me that “breaching my civil rights S....” by being searched at the entrance.

It’s not just Ibrox, and Rangers supporters, it’s happening all over Scotland.

I would give serious consideration to quitting watching football if alcohol was introduced at grounds , I go to watch the game, not be bumped into by some Ned that can’t handle the bevy.

Recently we’ve had sectarianism, racism, flares, pitch invasions and now hooligans throwing bottles onto the pitch, none of this is new, more often than not, it’s alcohol at the root cause.

Dundee and Aberdeen supporters fighting on the Hill, please grow up.

Some of the comments made by ex footballers, and footballers over the weekend are unbelievable to say the least.

Leave the bevy to the pubs, and if you can’t handle your bevy or getting beat, then football is not for you.

Can’t even consider the Highland League now, it has it’s own problems.

Best quote of the weekend was from a sober human, Livingston Manager, even the seagulls could see it was a handball.

Ffs Crocker listen to what they're singing!!!

As every club in Scotland is trying to eliminate this.

    Well hopefully they are.

It clearly raises it’s ugly head again, pretty certain that was up to our knees in F.....n blood.

Yes, a similar shout was made at GES a few weeks back, hopefully lessons learned there, and not to be heard again.

Hard to believe in Scotland 2022 we still get supporters, players coming out with this nonsense.

Sadly we had several cases in the Highland League over the space of one week, truly unbelievable.

A player stating that he was surprised nobody tried to hit McGregors face?

Another stating yesterday, after he elbowed a player twice, it’s a Mans game and to Man up?

Gee whiz, has he not realised that Women play football.

    How exactly is that going?

The Jailend isn't exactly the biggest and these days not populated to any great degree. The self styled singing section as a fraction obviously houses a faction that is ill-founded and what period of time is required to put them on the square?

Honestly, I don’t know the answer, not hearing any rumours on the responsible person.

Honestly again, from a personal point of view I have never ever heard this sort of thing in the area I normally sit.

In the recent case, it clearly did happen and does require to be addressed.

Not that it should be an excuse, but, judging by the people there, they are young immature males, they have to understand that it is not acceptable behaviour.

Why would anyone record this and then post it, beyond me, immaturity springs to mind.

We are fairly blessed in the Highlands in that this type of behaviour is extremely rare, but there are some elements that leave the Highlands on Supporters Buses and do conduct themselves in that way.

Setting aside the invective which isn't quite magic and your whataboutery, you do seem to be rather confused as to whether responsibility for sectarianism sits with a group of incomers or a single individual.

Have your drums beat out the rhythm of the truth yet?

    Absolutely no confusion or deflection.

We need to root out sectarianism.

Not sure what part you don’t understand?

Quote of the year, already awarded you you.

    Championship thread is calling you.

And don’t forget to call out your own club for their disgusting comments towards the Kilmarnock player.

The completion and publication of the investigation into sectarian behaviour?

    Yes.

Now please toddle back to the Championship threads.

    You have a game tonight.

Perhaps if some of you concentrated on the behaviour of your own fans behaviour, the recent game against Kilmarnock, and the constant heckling of a certain players family was disgusting.

I think I detect a common position that is determinedly partisan rather than visceral and given that the territory being defended is weak in the extreme, it is not a surprise.

The phrase du jour from Desmond Tutu concerns itself with silence being complicit and I'm in no small part disappointed that there hasn't been transparent and unequivocal closure to the most recent unpleasantness.

Are there any County supporters prepared to stand for what is decent?

Unfortunately, you do have a tendency to overdo it!

    Disgrace.

What chance have you got when the governing bodies show such contempt in these times.

SPFL should be ashamed of themselves, but in reality they won't give a toss.

    Sad state of affairs.

    Thank you.

    Short memory.

    Scottish League Cup this year.

You were quite happy to be awarded a 3-0 win over covid hit Ross County.
