I think you mean Brora or Kelty, oly one of them would have had the chance to join league 2.

Aye! This one is certainly proving difficult for some people to understand.

Brora or Kelty would have played each other.

    Follow?

The winner of that then played the bottom team in the Scottish League .

The winner of that game then took the place in the Scottish League.

Not really. Only one of Brora and Kelty ever had a chance of promotion in the first place, and going by the previous pattern of HL/LL promotion, that chance was only about 20% between them. Neither team should really have had any expectation of league football.

Partick Thistle is the obvious hard-done-by team.

At last, finally someone who has grasped this part.

Repeat! Only one team, either Brora or Kelty, ( my vote for Brora) would have played the bottom team in the Scottish league.

    Nothing had ever changed there?

Unless the Hearts, Partick gremlins got in and changed things.

St Johnstone and Ross County fans whinging about having to play "meaningless games" takes the biscuit tbqh.

Makes a change from hearing the constant whinging and whines from the Hearts owner & supporters.

Its down at Tynecastle we moan, we moan and we moan, we moan all day long.

Repeat!  we moan and we moan, we moan all day long.

come on gives us another moan, you lot are good at it.

This boy reckons they’d get bumper crowds so folk could go and watch Celtc/*** youth players. He’s in for a bit of a shock

Obviously he’s driven by self interest and wants his club promoted but this Rangers proposal is shite. The Elgin chairman has been the first to come out and say it’s pish and I doubt he’ll be alone.

Bumper crowds? Afraid the man is deluded, crowds up 150 to 300.

Scottish clubs have grumps at travelling to Elgin, Peterhead, Dingwall, and they even moan at travelling  to Inverness .

pretty certain they would be screaming at the thought of travelling to Brora.

Rangers proposal is pure S***e, Hearts proposals are just laughable.

Well said the Elgin Chairman, I applaud you for having the guts to come and say it’s P**h.

If Rangers or Celtic Colts are just fast tracked into the league, same goes for Kelty & Brora, I will spend my Saturday afternoons Hill walking.

Absolutely no time for queue jumpers.

I have a suggestion, why not let Inverness Clach in?  much bigger club than Brora.

Think there was a club from East Lothian , Borders area that wanted into the league, What about them?

100%.  Heart of Midlothian are trying to drag us all down to the depths with them - ignoring any responsibility whatsoever for their current predicament and blaming everyone else for the fact they finished 12th with the 3rd highest budget in Scotland by a distance.  Let them rot, we've got bigger fish to fry.

No desire to see Hearts rot, however they have to accept relegation, how many attempts is Budge going to have at “New Proposals”  the same goes for Rangers, their Colt idea is for their benefit, not for the good of Scottish football.

what gives any club the right to think they  can just jump into the leagues?

there are many clubs who would like to get into the Scottish leagues.

Inverness & Ross County tried for years to get into the Scottish league.

What gives Kelty Hearts & Brora Rangers the right to think they can just jump in? their right of entry was through a play off.

Repeat!  There are many clubs who would like entry.

Every proposal so far is simply to accommodate Hearts, Partick Thistle, who have both been stinking through the season, hence the reason they are where they are.

As for Rangers, they just can’t accept the fact that Celtic are Champions ( deservedly)

Time to move on with getting ready for the new or next season.

Should clubs want changes, then put proposals forward, and as in the past they can be looked at to take place in a couple of years, not just knee jerk reactions because Hearts are relegated.

Bet your bottom dollar if Hearts were not sitting at the bottom none of the Budge proposals would have been put forward or even thought about.

Time for clubs to put the toys away.

From the Rangers 'dossier' the bullying ICT are alleging took place was by Ross McArthur from Dunfermline in relation to splitting out monies post the season being called. If this is the bullying accusation it's nothing to do with Doncaster - the bullying involving Doncaster seems to be Donald Park bullying him ….

Still waiting on Ross McArthur to provide an update on all this from a DAFC perspective but he may just decide that everything shouldn't be public until decisions are final and any discussions are kept in house....funny that. Also, still waiting on Dundee to back up ICT and Rangers claims given that they were named also...

The Rangers Dossier, what dossier, what does it contain?

Why did ICT only come out with the bullying claim late on?

There was no mention of bullying when they thought they were going up to a 14 team league.

Other club accusing ICT of bullying them.

Could not make this up, early panto season.

The clubs! when the push came to the shove they were all clambering about looking after number one.

Please, lets not invent stories to help your cause, the club remaining most silent on all this Celtic, I suspect they are just waiting to be crowned Champions, and the rest will just be as is.

How many enquiries and "demanded" independent inquiries are we going to call for, seems that if some clubs don't like they way a vote has gone they call for another one.

    And its Miss to you!

OF COURSE IT WAS A HANDBALL,  IT WAS BLATANT CHEATING (end of)

Yep. Celtic are still mystified why Josh Meekings was not sent off in the Scottish Cup semi final, for the most blatant hand ball ever seen in Scottish football.

Fans like you are not missed from the game. You won't be happy til there are leprechauns dancing at half time and the food stands are selling bobby sands pizza which when you open the shit smeared box is empty.

What a typical xenophobic Caley mobster statement to make.

I wholeheartedly believe she has to go. 5 year plan, behind plan every year.

    However,

The question I am asking can FOH do something like this to relieve her of her position? The loan she has given has been repaid and more.

12million for a stand, 24 million now I believe and still NOT finished! Her brother, has the construction contract and was a 'carpenter' by trade.

Levein still at the club, won the square root of 0. John Murray Hearts chief scout still at the club not produced anyone of note for as long as I can remember. Her husband a non executive role with 1million going his way every year too!

People laughing from hospitality down on Hearts fans who wanted Levein removed which almost caused a full scale riot.

Jobs for pals, john colquhouns Box Soccer implemented throughout the academy academy coaches who are students and never kicked a baw in their life. Those who have are robots and players still encouraged to play the way their taught.

Shes a vile human. Up there with Neil Lennon.

If this is true, it is absolutely shocking.

How could the Hearts fans fall for this ?

The Foundation Of Hearts raised lot of money for the club.

And to think Craig Levein is still at the club getting paid, after getting the sack???

So, if Ann Budge goes,  Does Craig Levein go with her?

Surprised at just how poor Caley were - second in the Championship but miles behind Dundee Utd quality wise.

Those tackles on Boyle were awful, and dare I say premeditated (great tactics Robbo) I havent watched the red card back yet but it was yet another horrible tackle from the Highland thugs.

Very lucky to get the two goals on the balance of play, but I am sure Robbo will be saying he deserved a replay......or some other tear stained pish.

    Here, here!

Afraid the old Caley mentality is creeping back in.

A bunch of hoofers and dangerous tacklers.

Tactis last night were a disgrace, thankfully no Hibs players were hurt.

Some of the Caley tackles were Shockers.

Carson, had red mist head from the kick off, as did Trafford.

Sad thing is, if they concentrated on playing football, they could have done ok.

Fourth game against Ross county this year we’ve been the better side and won none. Hard to take.

Poor second half for saints but missed three great chances, Wright’s end product...

Going to kick f**k out of anyone in foxes who looks like they are a County fan tonight.

Well, I was in Foxes on Saturday night.

I asked the Stewards  at the door, are under  16's allowed in tonight?

NO, was the reply, no under 16's allowed in!

Thanks for that, I was hoping that Saturday would be just another enjoyable evening, not worried about some childish Moron  thinking he was Rocky Balboa, bumping into folk hoping to start a fight, then running away with a petted lip when someone says boo to him.

    The grass on the dump

The grass on the Dump used to be a great surface, how on earth they managed to ruin it, is anyone’s guess.

Perhaps it was Shaun  The  Sheep  during one of his temper tantrums.

An old saying we used to have down our way, was, stop your carry on,  you’re fighting like the Tinks.

Don’t you just love the Dump banter? Keep fighting like the Tinks.

Given that the city, in a fiscal sense, has a year round gravitational pull, I rationalise this local one-off boost as distributive to an otherwise diminished district.

You do quote complete and utter tosh. The only gravitational pull around the Sneck is the Moon. Come to think of it the Dump is one big crater.

I see all the commotion on the park has made people forget that a flair was thrown onto the park from the home end at kick off and a coin was thrown from the away end in the second.

Confirmation both clubs have Morons .

I really do wish they would stop this nonsense,  throwing flares, coins , just stupidity .

The post was a substantive one that endeavoured to put moronic sectarianism in a historical and highland cultural context.

As much as I've immediately warmed to @Merkincher Clach & County I fear that our respective views on the world will be forever incompatible.

As far as the game goes and for all of the joy that the result has elicited, not much has changed.

Caley aren't in the title race, have no money and the January window will play a part in revealing how well those that do will prosper.

Have to disagree with you on that one.

Caley are very much , still in the title race, they might not be far away.

I try to deal in facts and the occasional windup.

Most of what I say is based on facts.

If Caley had the money for a decent manager, not a has been, who is more interested in Hearts than Caley, they might just might have a chance of promotion to the SPL, ok that could be through the play offs.

Afraid Robertson has the wrong tactics most weeks.

Draw, draw, draw, after draw, with the occasional defeat.

    Have to agree!

Three against one does not seem fair here.

And before people get to influenced with this photo, this was obviously after the initial incident.

Anyway, time to sign  off now, great to stir up a hornets nest on a Sunday morning.

Look forward to the Inverness Derby sometime in the future , the Mighty Clach playing Caley, or if possible Inverness Thistle.

Because that’s where Caley are heading.

Absolute sickener to lose that one. However as so many of us have been saying for weeks if not months we cannot keep wasting these golden chances to score and expect to win games and that was the same with yesterday. We could have been about 4 - 1 up going into the last 15 minutes but after Walsh missed the target with a lovely sidefooted shot County seemed to press us back and you could sense the momentum was shifting albeit they didn't create anything too clear cut until the eventual winner.

Easy to say with hindsight but when County did start to push us back I would have liked to have seen Robbo bring on Mackay for Doran to try and get back on top of things. Most of our threats came behind the County left midfielder and left CB with Walsh getting a lot of time and space to send crosses in. Again he tired as the game went on and this was probably another reason County were able to push as back.

White is such a bizarre player. Another nice tidy finish yesterday but other times his first touch was garbage, he struggled to win headers and moves broke down because of his apparent inability to control a football. Polworth also had a very quiet game but County were on top of our players almost any time they had the ball in the first half. Their closing down was excellent.

Incredible stramash at the end. Not sure what Graham was thinking. The game was pretty much won and if he wins that header he could be off to the corner flag to run the clock down. Instead he launches his arm into the face of Donaldson then starts throwing punches all over the shop  I guess Rooney got sent off for a headbutt as it looked like someone threw their head into a County player. Absolutely disgraceful scenes to end the game. More please!

Were you watching the game from the Keg?

Launches his arm into Donaldsons face, is that the same Caley thug that went through several County players?

Come  to think of it, i f memory serves me the Caley thugs did that on numerous occasions when County broke forward.

Afraid the old Caley mentality of hacking players done does not fit into modern day football.

As for Rooney , despicable display of thuggery again. Loves dishing it out, but can’t take it back.

What I've heard was that by last Saturday, Caley Thistle only had 22 tickets left to sell, but were going to try and get a couple hundred more.  I assume they mean that seating where the gazebo used to be (bring it back!).

You obviously were fed a lie, as on the day of the match, Caley were offered a cash gate as their ticket sales were so poor.

As a Clach supporter who  reguraly attends  matches throughout the Highlands, just to watch a game of football.

I attended yesterday’s Highland Derby, and let me assure you, the North Stand which was occupied by Caley support was NOT full, there was quite a number of empty seats.

The Caley support was quite vocal, however their behaviour was appalling, not quite sure if one song was directed at Polworth or a County player, either way it was disgusting.

Inside information,  Caley supporters damage a number of seats (again) at the Global Stadium.

Shame on the lot of them.
