  1. You look to be on a perfectly normal one today, chum. I await the "do you think the BBC are banned from Ibrox" poll with baited breath.
  2. Unfortunately @AJFis correct here. My daughter is friends with twins. If one of them does something to annoy me and I go over the top in banning her from the house, then it doesn't mean I've banned the family.
  3. *Sighs* No. I'm happy enough for a comedian to say what they want. At the same time, if they're willing to accept the profits from mocking the afflicted etc then they should understand that a chap on the jaw may be coming.
  4. Yeah. And then some of them started shooting each other.
  5. Well the guy I disagreed with posts the odd Roy Chubby Brown video so...
  6. This is how I see it to be honest. I just take exception to the rule that comedians should be allowed to say what they want. Stems more from what folk in my group chat were saying and @19QOS19got the brunt of it. I'm not condoning assault on comedians. I don't see how they should be allowed to say what they want without the risk of someone giving them a crack.
  7. I've already answered your question. No you didn't. You said something along the lines of "it's their job". You've not explained why you think it's ok.
  8. I've watched and enjoyed plenty stand up shows. Can you explain why it's ok for comedians to profit from making a c**t of others with no repercussions, please?
  9. Yes I think it best we do if you think physical assault is the same as a comedian making a joke. Yeah that's exactly what I said, wasn't it? I've asked why it's ok for Comedians to profit from taking the piss out of others with no repercussions. Why should it just be accepted?
  10. He didn't do it without repercussions. chris Rock chose not has press charges. This type of situation happens in every day life. You can turn it around and say if that was a member of the public that made the remark about Will Smith's wife, he'd have been slapped before he'd finished his sentence. Why is it acceptable for a comedian to do it without repercussions? If he was aware of that it's bad taste certainly. Of course he was aware of it. Him and Will Smith don't get on due to previous comments he made about her.
  11. I see some comedians are upset that this could happen as it normalises assault for the every day man. It's not like Will Smith paid to go to a comedy show, sat front row and Chris Rock took the piss out of his lugs.
  12. Fucks sake. Thought he was joking. Still greenied the video.
  13. Dave Cormack is loaded and he still had the begging bowl out for the Cormack Park funding. Not everyone is as daft as Eddie Thompson.
  14. It can be done but you need to do it with a young side. You'll also need success before they f**k off elsewhere.
  15. Yip. Or playing a defensive team and Ojo taking an extra touch to set himself before he looks for the pass. Chance gone.
  16. Very good point. Glass identified Ojo as someone who could do exactly as he wanted tactically. We played him wide left against Tavernier and he completely nullified him. the problem was when Ojo received the ball in the final third, he was out of his depth.
  17. Yeah. I think you really need to get that grounding somewhere, like Goodwin did at Alloa. Pep is obviously an anomaly. He's had World Class squads wherever he went. Arteta is coming good at Arsenal but it took a lot of time. There's not too many success stories of managers being thrown in at the top, on a relative level. Will be interesting to see how ST sales go for both of us tbh. Not that they were ever struggling, but Hibs probably cut their cloth a bit when they didn't sell either of Nisbet and Porteous back in January 2021.
  18. Glass talked a good game. By all accounts, his training was superb. I know they stayed back for hours to do analytical work as you could see them leaving Cormack Park well in to the evening. I just think him, like Maloney, have never had the experience of having to dig in during bad a run of results. When it happens at a big club and there's added pressure then you won't last long. I do agree with @HibsFanthat if you're going to go on and do something remarkable then you probably need a rookie with fresh ideas. There's a far bigger chance of it going the other way though.
  19. We've been linked with Cadden several times. Each time I've been delighted he's went elsewhere.
