  1. Good afternoon. Absolutely spot on my good man, well said indeed!!! Here on the east coast we merely smile and wave at these so called professional media clowns. Two good coaches Tanner says, referring to Neil McCann and Jim McIntyre, maybe he's correct, however they certainly were not or even approaching competent managers. Best regards.
  2. Happy days indeed, the sun is shining bright for a reason!!! Dream management team for me as mentioned previously would be Jim Goodwin and Charlie Adam as co-managers. Strong, knowledgeable leadership presence on the park and in the dugout respectively. Both commanding a vast footballing network north and south of the border. Best regards.
  3. Good morning. Heard a rumour Fort William Football Club were looking at Mr McIntyre's recent managerial work record.......... Only however to clear the pitch pre-match after the stags have been. LOL. Best regards.
  4. Evening folks. Just read the BBC Scottish Football report where Neil McCann and Jim McIntyre have had a bit of a mud-slinging festering encounter. As players respectively, Neil McCann was a wonderful footballing talent who operated at a successful level and Jim McIntyre was a decent journeyman footballer who would have improved most Scottish football team attack options, Dundee included imo. However, as potential football managers the article I refer to marks their respective cards for lacking any relevant managerial qualities on so many levels and no mistake!! Any substantial business can make mistakes, a measure of your true quality is how you respond to them. As I've already said Mr McIntyre is now history, this is now all about how we move on and make good. Best regards as always.
  5. Good evening. Agree totally with the above posting. The man is now history, unfortunately only apparently he thinks otherwise, 10 in a row and still counting!! If he possessed any decency, humility or grasp on reality the first thing he should be doing is apologise and accept his part in this ongoing debacle. This gentleman was long enough between jobs to have done his professional homework and realised the position of his new employers prior to his appointment. Or as I suspect, was Billy Dodds' the reading and writing component and indeed brains of this former partnership. As for his 'cultural' rant regarding his current employers, he may or indeed may not wish to explain himself when he stands tall before the man to receive his pending P45. Best regards.
  6. Good evening. Now that's interesting news, for me anyway and this is merely a humble long-term fans' opinion and observation. Once 'Mr Subtitle Required' has been issued his pending jotters and rightly so, an exciting combination to swiftly restore our rightful place in Scottish Football and as co-managers no less, would indeed be Jim Goodwin and Charlie Adam. A vastly talented (in their own way) collective pair of hungry, well focused, extremely knowledgeable in the right footballing sense. to provide a no nonsense approach on the sidelines and indeed more importantly on the park. Both would provide a rich vein of football networking on both sides of the border and remember this co-manager thing is not a recent fashion, when Archie Knox left us to join Alex Ferguson at Aberdeen it was indeed as co-manager!! Think clearly about it, Brian Clough and Peter Taylor, as bold as Brian was (and he was), they both confessed as a collective they were at their strongest!!! Anyway. merely a thought. Best regards as always.
  7. Good evening. Crawford's post above has saved me a little time this evening, very much appreciated. Not quite sure what RandomGuy is saying/referring to in previous posts. However the next time I'm called to Farmer McDiarmid's generously donated plot of land I'll have to consider in my refreshed Risk Assessment to include my best on-site rigger boots, just in case any Randoms lurking in the shadows. Lol. Anyway, on a more sensible note, very interesting to see the differing opinions in response to today's Dens Park press release. Best Regards.
  8. Good evening. I feel I have to confess to my guilty pleasure, I do enjoy your non tangerine infected/contaminated humour and input. Worked professionally alongside two Kilmarnock fanatics a few years back, decent fellows by all account. Also have to confess my jealousy for your Harry Enfield picture. Best regards.
  9. Good evening. Likewise, I do like to presume and assume I'm worldly-wise and well travelled, however I've also been struggling a tad since the tail end of the last calendar year, lol. Always personally thought sub-titles would have assisted on the evening news. Best regards.
  10. Evening folks. Dele my man, just logged in on this fine evening and read your input. Are we back on the substantial questionable DAB IQ level thread again? Really, in fairness, best for them not to comment at all than remove any doubt in our minds completely, lol!!! Best regards.
  11. Protest at the next home match would be my choice. Good evening. This would be something unprecedented at Dens Park, certainly to my experience or memory. However, if required to vent our displeasure at Mr McIntyre's position would it be so outrageous to collectively turn our backs to the action between the 9th and 10th minute (for obvious reasons), then give our vocal support immediately afterwards to restore some pride, even if just for ourselves!! Again, with hindsight, I'm not sure how many of us will actually attend on Saturday given our current offerings, that may serve as a protest itself. Best regards.
  12. Evening folks. Surely there has to be some form of redress in the t&c's of the contract for our record breaking (and counting) current manager. Any other profession I've personally experienced, or can think of for that matter, you'd be swiftly out on your hairy arse!! Anyways, enough about the one with the large footwear and spinning bow-tie, our thoughts now need to focused on his future replacement. In all honesty though part of me (1%) is against the immediate sacking of Mr McIntyre. Let him carry the next three probable defeats on his CV for his future development, he is a record breaker after all. Here's hoping for better days ahead, not too distant we hope. Best regards.
  13. Good evening. Just a brief comment to agree with the above posting regarding Glen Kamara. Anyone attending the St Johnstone home game December 29th should remember this young gentleman's performance which was an absolute discredit and disgrace to his so called profession. This professional was prevented from embarrassing his employers any longer at half-time and never wore the famous dark blue again. The modern game would appear to provide disposable football clubs for the more weak minded man-child of today. As Nathan Jones rebuilds at Stoke City he professes, talent is not enough, he requires the work ethic and decent human beings also. Not a bad standard to set and hopefully achieve. Best regards.
  14. Evening all. CanadianDee is absolutely spot-on in what he forecasts if/when the expected drop transpires . This current collective would not hold their own for two minutes in such a competitive league where teams would enjoy coming to Dens in search of a scalp, best not to think about away games at this early stage. Only solution, McIntyre out, ASAP. Swiftly followed by numerous players unless a superior footballing brain, ie manager can be secured who can see something positive we don't . This fellow McIntyre not only embarrasses himself but more importantly our club. Russell Brand quotes/jokes, "This is merely a moment in time, it will pass". How long this moment lasts will no doubt be costly to the current owners who have nowt but good intentions for our club, imo. Best regards.
  15. Evening all. Spent a short time reading this evenings input. however have you seen the spelling and grammar of DU83's posting? Roughly 68% of the population has an IQ between 85 and 115, safe to say we can guess what the 83 refers to. Lol Entertaining none the less. Best regards.
  16. Many thanks G_Man1985. We are where we are as they say. Painful as it is at the moment!! Best regards.
  17. Good Evening. Always beware anyone apparently too busily occupied speaking about another certain club, recollections of John Brown I'm afraid. Regards
  18. Good evening folks. Strong feelings around my beloved Dens Park, hence joining your community tonight. Firstly I would say the American owners have to admit and accept they need to seek expert professional footballing advice regarding McIntyre's replacement. Otherwise their substantial financial investment will follow Dundee on this ongoing downward spiral. Interesting list of candidates though, most of which would be an improvement, imo. Regards
