Literally really didn't give the ball away!
He did get caught on the ball a couple of times when he shouldn't have but a strong performance overall. He's done better in Europe this season than he has domestically.
Errr what? We've competed quite well I thought? It's Porto away not St Mirren. Hit the post and Tav had that chance he should have done a lot better with but we've also kept them to not that many chances either.
Not sure about Barker starting. Don't think he's cut out for it at this level but happy to be proven wrong. Definitely agree with @KnightswoodBear as I think we will be lose by a 2 goal margin.
The Porto fans are very amiable but language barrier a bit of a struggle. They do speak very good French though.
Saved by a 17 year olds bad mistake, wasn't even a particularly good corner.
Our Killie and St Mirren away wins were also games where we didn't play well at all but got results due to set pieces. Just a general theme.
We've been absolutely hopeless here. Getting saved on another away day by set pieces again?
Also get Kent on ASAP. Ojo has had loads of space on a number of occasions but hasn't done anything with it
Small pitch with not a lot of space and the fans right on top of the players would be the two biggest reasons. Plus we were lucky in the 2-1 win last season.
This was the solitary win: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/3704537.stm
I'm actually expecting a much tougher game than most are assuming though.
But you still did it though... Your defence seems to be that someone else somewhere else did it first. I can understand how that can happen and I don't think you're a bad person at all. It's just regrettable is all.
