Horrible conditions out there today, hopefully everyone stays safe.

In regards to Reilly, fair enough if Partick were offering a longer deal but they can offer a better package all round than us in our present state, so why waste our time?
We're more likely to end up with a young CB on loan from Celtic B than we are to bring in a Reilly or Ashcroft sadly...

Did you guys try and sign o Reilly from Raith. Would have thought if you were looking for a CB you would have put in a bid
Considering teams higher than us were in for Reilly, we would have been wasting our time, not a chance he would have signed for us.
Unfortunately club size is irrelevant when it comes to Ashcroft, if Raith are wanting him, he ends up there as he's got a chance of winning the league or promotion, we're not achieving either this season.

Every transfer window seems like an absolute drag for us.
I don't think we'll get anyone in before Saturday.

Any Dundee or St Johnstone fans reading the thread know whose likely to be leaving your club in January? Just to give us all a heads up, cheers.

We have a flappy goalie, several injured defenders, two of the weakest midfielders in the league in Chalmers & Allan and no proper goalscorers.
Our only hope now is Summers banging one in from outside the box and he's only fit half the time.
Fucking depressing.

O'Halloran, Allan and Chalmers are competing for who can look like the worst 'footballer' on national TV. We need about 5 signings this window
Fortunately we can punt Allan at the end of the season, unfortunately we are stuck with Chalmers & O'Halloran for another season.
Giving O'Halloran a two year deal was absolute madness in the first place, a total charlatan.

We've got no defenders due to injuries and no attacking players due to a lack of ability.
The clean sheet the only positive to that first half performance.

New year, same old shit, we are such a toothless and boring team to watch.
We got humped at home in the Scottish Cup by a Raith team who had Ross Millen, a midfielder and a guy who hadn't played a competitive game all season in their defence and we didn't trouble them one bit and then today we couldn't lay a glove on their injured twat of a goalkeeper.
Total piss take and its simply not good enough, even more depressingly we know that guys like Chalmers, Comrie, Mehmet, O'Halloran and Wighton are here for the foreseeable.
In terms of the video that's going around social media, ban the wee c***s forever, absolutely pathetic.

Would go...
Mehmet
Comrie/Breen/Bene/Fisher/Edwards
Hamilton/Otoo
Moffat/Todd
Wighton or McCann
Basically anything other than having to watch Chalmers & Allan play together in midfield or watching Jakubiak pretending to be a striker.

Yeh there's a hell of a lot of snow here in Dunfermline.
QP fans, I wouldn't bother travelling through, no chance this goes ahead.

I'd feel much happier if Mehmet was back in the starting lineup next week too
Definitely, Deniz is number one and should be right back in the starting line up for this one, Sharp hasn't played well enough to keep his place.

Even though yesterday was disappointing, under McPake we tend to bounce back really quickly, so we shouldn't be too disheartened.
We should be looking for maximum points against Arbroath & Ayr at home and if we play like we did against Morton, we'll win them both. It's important that we as fans make EEP a nasty place for opposition teams to visit, so hopefully the ground is rocking again despite yesterday.
The really frustrating thing is that we struggle to keep the same eleven back to back due to picking up unfortunate injuries, so fingers crossed Summers is back for this one, would also like to see Moffat start as he looked a player against Morton.

Is it definitely all the fault of the club?
What chances would Wighton or another striker have scored today that someone else missed?
The blame lies with those involved in the recruitment side of things, yes.
We knew we were winning League One for weeks, we had a head start on most clubs when it came to planning our recruitment. Of course that doesn't mean we would sign every target as that would be naive, however as it stands our only weakness from last season has got...even weaker and I don't think it is outlandish to be disappointed that we haven't seen one new striker come in the door, especially going up a higher level.
We're the same as last season, we're a solid outfit defensively (albeit we looked more solid with Mehmet in goals) and Edwards is one of if not the best crosser of the ball outside the Premiership but we're weak upfront.
I thought we created some decent chances/half chances today like last week (you seem to disagree but that's football, happy to re-watch the highlights when they appear) and I just think a proper striker with predatory movement would have turned them into serious efforts/goals which tends to be the difference in this league.

So wrong on both counts. Well done
You don't think we would have won that today if we had another striking option? I thought we put in some great deliveries but had no one to finish them which is our biggest issue right now.
Not sure why you don't think Queens Park will be a good marker though, can you clarify that one?

Not sure how previous results are relevant to us playing poorly today.
Can you tell us how the club fucked about with signings please?
Simply because we let O'Hara and Todorov go and haven't replaced them three months later.
We either targeted unrealistic signing options and missed out on more realistic targets or gambled that someone would come up later in the window.
As it stands we're four games into the season with Lewis McCann our only available striking option today.

Frustrating part is that we would probably have won that had we not fucked about all summer when it comes to signing a couple of actual strikers.
Queens Park away next in the league will be a good marker for where we are as a club in this league.

He was in the Rovers directors box jumping about at the full time whistle. He’s not signing for the good guys of Fife that’s for sure.
Is this actually true or did someone just make this up and folk are repeating it? Seen a few folk saying the same story.
Not really sure why a guy with no connection to Raith would be celebrating with Raith directors, especially against his old manager.
Whether it's Jakubiak or not we desperately need two new strikers.

Thought that was a poor game that was devoid of any real quality, yet obviously Raith won't care.
We huffed and puffed but had f**k all in the final third, O'Halloran looks absolutely shite.
Raith got the goal from our own mistake and just sat back and we couldn't break them down.
We definitely need a couple new strikers before the window closes.

Someone replace this stadium announcer asap

I know the club is trying new things but never do that again eh

Fucking turn the mics down, they trying to deafen everyone?

We better hope our starting eleven has enough to win the game, as we've got f**k all on the bench to change things.
Will be surprised if the starting eleven is not the below,
Sharp
Comrie / Breen / Benedictus / Fisher / Edwards
Chalmers / Hamilton
McCann / Wighton / Tod
I'm not even convinced O'Halloran will make the bench...

Just pay him off right now and cut our losses before we have to endure any more pain.
Joe Chalmers that is.
