Surprised we signed him as i was expecting a defender to be the main priority, yet maybe that will also be on the horizon soon.
McCabe had a lot of promise with Rangers, i remember he was exceptional in one of the Old Firm games. However, he's not the first player to go down to England too early and end back up in Scotland. He's only 23 so there's plenty of time for him to turn it around, could be an inspired signing.

Maybe try and get down from your all high and mighty pedestal eh?
Even though most of the regulars will remember, i criticised Moffat last season because he was a disappointment on the goals front. Whether folk want to admit or not, the facts are that he missed a lot of chances and he like nearly every other player, deserved criticism.
However, he has started the season well and is showing signs of being the player that Ayr fans raved about and hopefully it continues for the rest of the season.

Really gutting news for Williamson, this was going to be a big season for him as Johnston is a massive fan. Hopefully he can return and become the player that the wise ones of us have seen in him from the beginning.

Sorrry guys but i have to disagree on Potter, guy is finished although i am not sure he's ever had it when playing for us either. God help us if BRE or Fordyce get injured against Peterhead and we have to play him against Stewart and Hemmings
We badly need a new centre back and a wing back, hopefully AJ can bring in some loans to help us out.

1998 was the date, although i would only have been five at the time so most likely why i couldn't remember.
So 17 years without a cup draw to a non league side, quite fancied a trip to Linlithgow among others, yet we're stuck with Ayr again.
The fact that we play them at Somerset twice in the space of two weeks is a bit shit, yet if we win both games it will give us huge confidence. However, on the other hand it will give Ayr a lot of momentum if they win both.
