If we are to be up the other end of the league next season then a new keeper will be one of four first 11 starters we will need to bring in : keeper , sweeper, midfielder and a goal scoring no10 to work with Dowds (assuming he stays) !

It’s the trips to Africa twice a season . Is that something Brown will put up with ?

We just have to get Dowds signed it’s as simple as that ! We could do with getting a bit of target man back up as well . Then we move into second striker territory, is Willoughby that player . Not sure .

Only made about half a dozen games due to work this season but I’ll be rocking up on the 15th and buying a season again . I quite like having a professional football club in my town !

With a fully fit group of players we should get through those two fixtures ok , but we are beyond the bare bones in central midfield and at full back ! It’s going to be a nerve wracking week !

Smith and Harvie set a high bar having both played English L1 since leaving us . If we could find another two in that calibre then that would be great !

Let’s not forget he is very young and straight out the Academy, people also forget this is the Championship not L1 ! As I said earlier I think our days of wingers are drawing to a close . The boy is a right wing back . Is he ready for next season ? Time will tell . However Scott Brown will know that long before any of us .

I have a feeling Paddy will get a one year deal as well . Just maybe we are looking at a 532/541 next season ? Tomlinson on the right , Paddy on the left , with an experienced sweeper coming in behind Stainger and McGinty . This would also take out and out wingers off the shoping list , which may explain the Logan situation..
