  1. I understand your point and I agree I see the merit too. I do believe it is time to create a seperate thread because this specific issue is taking over this thread and I think it's clear from the comments and likes that people are ready to move on from it (my view anyway). I believe this issue has had it's time in the view of the wider audience, and I've actually spoken to VD by DM for maybe the past week now and I think he's a really reasonable guy and clearly passionate about the club and his beliefs. I even believe he himself understands the grumblings I had. If VD and others remain discontent (and I know they do) then I think it's time to either create a new thread, or arrange a meeting with the FSS / FFC board to get the changes they need agreed/have the issues they have officially addressed/find a way to move forward together. Neither the club or FSS are likely to respond on P&B and all this is doing is sort of pitting the fans against each other needlessly. I'd be happy to join this new thread, and I'm sure others who have an interest will too. That being said, it's not my decision and obviously people can feel free to continue to post as they see fit.
  2. This is where P&B let's me down. I'd love to her the FSS version of events now we've heard yours. Or atleast their response.
  3. Falkirk fan unhappy the fans group is giving money to the club the fans support. Sorry, but I just find it mental people are this unhappy. The club have explained the money we're putting in is helping to sign better players.. Potentially going to the academy in the future. The agreement is not set in stone and can be updated (or that's how I understood it from the podcast anyway). I agree with the other poster though, either draw a line under this or creating a new thread and people can debate both sides of the arguement on there.
  4. I'd be interested to see the results of a poll on that topic. As you say it's mainly the same people back and forth alot. Hard to gauge wider picture fairly.
  5. Agreed. Can't wait for Saturday and hopefully another dominant performance and 3 points.
  6. Correct. FSS and PG currently have approx 46.6% of shares between them - going by the joint statement issued by FFC and FSS yesterday. With at least another 9.6% of small shareholders who could chip in to veto any new share issue (all hypothetical of course).
  7. I wonder if they are just laying low until the storm passes? Would they resurface if we did manage to secure promotion? I can't remember if they were part of the problem, or just really unlucky we were a complete sh1tshow on and off the park when they bought into us?
  8. Who would make the decision to issue new shares? Would the two FSS board members get a vote to accept or reject the new share issue, or would the FSS itself get to veto the sale of new shares? I have little knowledge of how it works, so just trying to understand if we could block your hypothetical scenario, or if we're at the mercy of the club.
  9. What i took from the podcast is that the club need us... And in more numbers. Whether that's viewed as being taken for granted or desperately needed to keep the club afloat whilst we linger down in the depths of L1 then it comes down to a difference of opinion I guess.
  10. It's difficult because I understand your argument. I guess all I can say is Im happy to donate my subscription to the club. Aslongs it's clear where its going (player budget /academy /whatever the majority of FSS members vote for). I do understand there are a number of people here who feel differently, and continually tell us so. I don't know how we unite?
  11. Surely we're getting something in return? Maybe it's not tangible, but influencing how our money is spent (academy would be my preference and a real legacy for the FSS if we can get it back to where it was), two seats on the board, the ability to veto the next Mark Campbell, and hopefully seeing the club get back to where we belong, with our backing helping to deliver that..
  12. Bit of an odd and confusing message when you click on the PPV link. It reads as If it's only available to overseas subscribers and not to use a VPN, but it's definitely available as PPV to UK viewers . I suspect it'll work with and without a VPN.
  13. I wonder if Spencer will get a rest? 100% agree Hogarth, Bisland, Nesbitt, Oliver, Ola and Allan will start. They need minutes and I'd agree with your comments on the podcast before you disappeared that the fans want promotion over cup runs. Still, would be a nice bonus to get a result down in Ayr.
  14. Hahaha that would really put a twist on things and confirm there has been an underlying insult this whole time. Sadly I'm not clever enough for that...
  15. I'd agree revenge is a strong word and I don't think that fits what I'm trying to say, so maybe vandetta was the wrong word choice. Fued, quarrel, disagreement, issue discrepancy?? .. Call it what you want to call it but I'm just calling out what i constantly see from you and again I'm not intending to personally insult you, I just think you've made your point over and over again, let's move on and let those that can actually alleviate your concerns answer them tonight.. At the meeting called to answer fan questions. Agree to disagree and let's move on?
  16. I don't think vandetta is a personal insult. You clearly have beef with the FSS and mentioned you'd left the committee previously for whatever reason I can't remember. As I said before, apologies if you feel I have insulted you personally. Not intended. Here's hoping you get closure to your concerns tonight and the bairns get 3 points tomorrow
  17. I was referring to a small minority of the fan base and their need to toxic about something. I wasn't intending to imply you yourself are toxic, you have a valid arguement. I just wanted to stress I think you've made your point now. I absolutely agree the FSS and the club should be transparent and engage with fans. But I just don't think they should do so on here. As you've highlighted it's mainly an anonymous forum and there just isn't any way to verify the legitimacy of someone or their motives on here. For all anyone knows I could be a rival fan trying to cause division (I'm not) I don't tend to explain myself very well, so I hope you understand the point I'm trying to make.
  18. I have replied to your direct message. As I've said this is an open forum and I believe I am just as entitled as you to share my views, I have agreed with some of your posts previously, and I now find myself becomming annoyed with what I interpret as negativity around the share issue, I understand you're unhappy, and you post alot about it, I think most people on here agree with your point, but to continue to push it on here has just started to annoy me a bit because we can't answer for the FSS, and I doubt any of them are brave enough or silly enough to reply to you on here (if they are here and I would imagine they are). I think the meeting tonight is a better forum to raise and debate your concerns, I'm not saying you can't do what you want on here, I'm just saying I think you've done it enough now, and it's time to raise it to the people that might be able to address your concerns? Again, apologies if you felt insulted, not my intention.
  19. Fully agree with this. It's actually starting to feel like a bit of a vandetta towards the club / FSS by the same person. If the member is so unhappy then he should withdraw his membership from the FSS and stop causing unnecessary negativity. Sometimes a minority of our fans always have to be toxic, even when a solution is offered they're not happy it's not being done in the way they specifically want it done. Look at the bigger picture here. Let's move forward together and focus on getting behind this team now and out of this f**king league.
  20. Would be good to hear from Nigel, the current FSS rep on the FFC Board as to what's required and how he's finding it. Never seem to hear much from him. It's certainly an appealing role, just a bit vague about exactly what skills you MUST have.
  21. Given alot of your posts are about the FSS and Share concerns I'd hope you were putting yourself forward to get on the board or on the FSS committee on 1 September?
  22. A real worry. He had an excellent game. Looked like he rolled it quite badly. Could be 4-6 weeks if we're lucky.
  23. Nice to see us starting strongly and finishing teams off early for a change. Only criticism tonight was the floodlight power saving mode being left on for too long. Ha
  24. What concerns me is the fact he continues to play Oliver and Mcginn. We heard mumblings that they both activated extensions in their contracts rather than the club offering to keep them. I think there is a job for Mcginn in the team but not every week, but i just can't see us winning the league with Oliver as a starter and the constant 1 up top formation. I don't think it's time to sack the manager... Yet, but i would like to see him change things and not start every game with the same slow and safe play.
  25. Don't think you need to change your username. Just sign back into your other account to continue pushing the same topic.
