County don't have a scouting network we mainly deal with agents/contacts offering their players when it comes to player availability and what not, and of course picking up Caley players as well.

At least it's a permanent deal! Hopefully he does well for us, will be difficult to get game time as he's another central midfielder but it's a bit of depth I guess.

Tbf three of those came in after Hughes joined in January last season. We are Loan heavy this season as it stands. We still have time to get our own players in so hopefully it balances itself out a bit by the time our business is done.

It just seems ott & a tad dramatic to almost demand signings announced today, on what imo is quite a boring Wednesday tbqh.
We have about 15 senior players... I'm not demanding signings today, The chairman and the manager are the ones not keeping their word when it comes to signings, I know for a fact a couple have fallen through (Taylor, Shinnie etc) but you'd have thought if we have said we're signing players by a certain date we'd do it.

It's Wednesday, I'd have maybe thought Friday for an announcement of anyone knew just so it's in the weekend press. It's very unlikely anyone coming in would be considered for the playing squad for Sunday anyway, maybe they will but it's unlikely.
Other than Harry's younger (left sided) brother, has there been any rumours of names mentioned?
The manager said himself he expected 3 in by Tuesday and another 2 by the end of the week. We've had 1 in so far on the Monday. We were told the week before that we had around 3 or 4 that were waiting for our COVID issues to subside and they'd be in the door and that didn't happen. It's less of there being a deadline and more the club needing to pull the finger out because we're approaching our second league game of the season with half a squad.

Adams would sign 7 or 8 and about 2 would be good. Liam Boyce was his biggest coup as he ended up being the clubs greatest ever player (IMO)
Jim Fenlon and Jon Bateson are two of the worst he brought in. Both managed to find a way to jump and actually get smaller while they were in the air.
