This message board is far more entertaining when we lose. After a win, you can go days without a new comment. After a defeat the thing lights up like a Christmas tree.

Behave yourself. It’s nothing like Hughes’s meltdown. We are second in the league after 3 games. Exactly where we realistically hope to be come the end of the season.

I’ll tell you what, if Mendy was a Scottish player and we had signed him from a non league club from here, there would be no way he’d be getting the support some fans have been giving him. We can’t realistically be thinking of starting the season with him in the team.

Great to see a Rovers fan playing for the team. His two brothers keep winning the half time shot and his grandad is a fan too. I really hope it works out for him. Something tells me he won’t be here for long though...

How long does the scheme run until we can sign someone? Do we have to wait until there’s enough money in the bank to cover a contract?

I didn’t think we were that bad. If you take away Nando’s howlers, there wasn’t too much between the teams. Dundee were the better side but that’s only to be expected. Trying to hang Mcglynn out to dry is a bit over the top. Having viewed the highlights, it was never a foul for the first goal and that tackle was hard but fair. Definitely a stick on penalty for us though.

Well that was a wake up call if ever we needed one. I was gutted for big Nando today, I don’t think I’ve seen a worse display from a rovers defender and I’ve seen Ronnie Coyle, Odd whatever his name was and Anelkas signings. It even made me wonder what Ross Perry is up to! In the middle of the park I thought we looked good, Hendry was majestic and Matthews is a warrior. Up top I like the look of Allan, he holds the ball up well but we couldn’t capitalise. I really hate our insistence on playing the ball out from the keeper to the centre halves. Nando and Davo aren’t confident enough in possession and it invites pressure. Dundee looked very sharp going forward, they will give their neighbours a good run for their money.
