The goals we lose are not caused by the pitch ,opposition seem to be a bit quicker to react ,lack of marking ,players shying away from the ball , and maybe even the keeper could have done better on sat ,Hutts was saving them and gets dropped ,I think he got dropped due to posts on here ,aye I was one who said he could command his box better ,think he is the better of the two ,
Not saying the goals are caused by that but our unattractive long ball game could be a lot to do with it

The pitch... players don’t trust it!
everyone will say it’s same for both teams but away teams aren’t expected to dominate the ball they just come for a smash and grab and it suits the pitch, people also talk about the midfield being missing but have you seen the amount of times the defence just miss them out without even looking to see if they’re on to play it to...

Must admit I thought Fordyce and Crighton were ran ragged by McLean, like two buses turning!
think they do well against big physical strikers but struggle with the smaller more mobile type!

I don’t expect the team to change much from last week, we had 21 shots last week, convert a few of them and we win comfortably!
Only things I’d change is Gallagher out for Roberts to get another midfielder in and Mcdonald for McKay0 -
Stick with it or risk going off the rails even more with a change of manager at this time of the season..?

442 on that pitch doesn’t work, when is Murray going to realise that, it’s been tried numerous times, you need 3 proper midfielders In there not a striker dropping in!! There’s too much a gap between each of the units!

Poor poor goals to concede didn’t think the back 3 dominated towards the end, felt like hearts suffocated us in possession! Thought smith done well and Millar tatted all day, Kerr done okay for being his first game in god knows how long in a new position, the league is our main priority and today was a good day out for the fans and a bit of a pay day for the club.
Big push now and we can win this league!!

I feel like Murray will throw a spanner in the works somewhere in the 11 but not sure where it will come from.? There’s no pressure on us and I hope it’s been drilled into the players that’s the case!

I’d agree with this, comparing them together all McKay has is a long throw and I think Kerr can do everything McKay does and more besides the long through which must have under 2% success rate

Heard Kerr and big Nat played in midfield together tonight both taken off at half time, wonder if it’s with a view to Saturday..
Both apparently done well and Kerr scored 2!

Interesting to see how we line up against Hearts.. whether we camp in and hopefully hit them on the break or just go with what we’ve been doing recently which I think we’ll get cut open with to be honest.
As much as Hearts are there for the taking they are still two leagues above and with that quality of player against ours although they may be out of form we can’t underestimate them..

McKay has been getting away with it for a while now, don’t think Wedderburn is the answer as we need legs in the midfield, could try Kerr in there he’s looked decent on the ball when he’s played but couldn’t tell you the last time that was? Looks another to be out the door soon..

Well done to the reserve team tonight. 10-0 win against alloa. I've been to a quite a few of the reserve games and the biggest difference is playing guys like kerr, hawkshaw, big nat and Cowan. The games the have lost are when these guys haven't played. There doesn't seem to be any of the young boys pushing for a 1st team place. Still a good win well done guys!!!!
Interested to see how Kerr done, looks like he could be the only change for Saturday if we lose the appeal..

As much as I love a cup run, the league has to be our number 1 focus and to lose one of our starters to a daft injury when it could be avoided could be criminal! I’d rotate the team
