I don't necessarily agree with this part of your post.

While we would all love some terracing at Bayview, we do have 2 bars on site and the hospitality is excellent.  Yes the stand is a bit soulless but at least we get a decent view of the action.

    The hospitality is not excellent.

  2. Absolutely no doubt we are going down . The players on the park today looked liked they didn’t give a shit. I really thought that the squad we had was good enough to get us out of this mess but obviously not.

No doubt in my mind that the 2 year contact to Young and the signings made has ended us in this position.
Not familiar with the Board but why have they let this rot to continue?

Looking at Darren Youngs post match interview after Saturday there doesn’t appear much anger or hurt after being hammered 4 1. Blaming everything apart from himself. Now you can’t buy a winning mentality but if you show as little anger and emotion after a comprehensive pumping then we really are in trouble. I was still hurting like he’ll come Monday we as fans can only hope the management and players feel as shite after another piss poor performance on the road.

I thought exactly the same. Sick and tired of him coming out with the same old tired excuses. Christ, he couldn’t even recall their 3rd goal! Just listened to the Glory Days of Gold podcast with the host showing more passion than Young ever has.
Absolutely incredible that he is still in a job with this horrific start to the season and the current so called Board of Directors should be ashamed for the contempt they are treating the fans with.

  4. Strong rumours that the East Fife Board have monumentally mucked this all up by making a total balls up of the budget and when realised, it was too late as Youngs targets had found other clubs.
If indeed that is true then they should be man enough to come out and say so.
Could this be why the Board are so quiet? Could this be the reason they haven’t got rid of Darren Young in case he comes out and calls them out?

I’m not the Managers biggest fan but have to cut him slack over this.

    Shameful if true.

We certainly did not look like a team that's going down today, but I understand it's points we need now, not praise. I said last week we probaby needed 3 forwards, as it's up front where we're struggling. Smith can't do it all!

Don't know if the blame lies with the manager, the board, or our budget, but we've no option now than to stick with what we've got.

Maybe we had a couple of players lined up, but due to the fuel crisis, they couldn't make it through to sign on time.

How have we no option to stick with what we’ve got?

Young clearly has a high opinion of himself with all those full time jobs he applied for. Clearly the fact we're still stuck with him tells its own story.

Why are the board not recognising failure?

Absolutely no doubt he would have been sacked from any other club with this appalling start to the season.
Even last season the signs were there and thank God for Jack Hamilton’s goals.
The 2 year contract gifted to Young gets more pathetic as each week goes by.

  7. Darren Youngs comments today were delusional. Blaming everyone apart from himself. Why he dropped Jude Smith and Steele after them playing well is anyone’s guess.
it certainly looks like he has lost the fans and the club have to react sooner rather than later before it’s too late.
A day in the garden this Saturday beckons as no way am I shelling out decent cash to watch dross.
