Welcome back was pretty decent first time around manager certainly getting the backing of the board with all the new signings in the last couple of weeks. Hopefully he can get a settled team and formula and turn things around . Apart from left back we have got options when everyone is fit. Onwards and upwards.

Just a left back needed? I’m sure we can add a goalkeeper, a creative midfielder, a winger and a goal scoring striker to that list? Certainly another midfielder like Kieran wasn’t a priority in my opinion.

Massive game this Saturday and will be going along with hope rather than expectation.

Darren Young is on a shoogly peg and it looks like to me that he’s lost his players. Let’s hope also that he gives them a lot more encouragement from the sidelines rather than the statuesque management we have witnessed recently.

Yes agree we need to add players.  But let's put it into some perspective.  Besides the goalkeepers who I thought were both good Agnew did hee  haw last season he looked done. I'm definitely not a fan of Watson so would not be too upset at him going. Pitt about Wallace  but again he looked lethargic in the games I seen. More concerning is the injuries I hope they clear up soon..  The players we had got us into 5th place so bit disrespectful  to be so dismissive  of them. The young players we have signed will work in the under 20s when we get others in and there is talent their It is difficult  just now but I'm sure it will turn out ok

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t you the one that’s being disrespectful and dismissive to them?

  3. An away win without any shadow of a doubt. Sadly we are in a terrible state at the moment with a Management that has went stale and a squad severely lacking in numbers and quality. The warning signs for me were evident last season and the absolutely incredible decision to reward mediocrity with a 2 year year contract will come back to bite us.

  4. I’ve never been as disappointed after just 1 game in to the new season. It’s  all starting to look all too familiar. Absolutely no chance that this squad can compete consistently this season. Most of us knew what was needed to replace the players that left and what do we get?
Young doesn’t fill me with confidence and tonight’s performance was frankly disgusting and embarrassing.

Who were the people representing the JRG.? Do they have a medical background or a knowledge of pandemics ?.If i was at my work and was told the guy i was working with had tested covid positive i certainly would not be working with him and in the first place he would have been told to stay away from his work.

The atmosphere was electric that day, my face would have been a picture when Alan Irvine waltzed round Gordon Marshall to make it 2-0 though. What a bloody good team we had then, didn’t win a league game til October & missed out on promotion to the top league by a couple of points. I don’t think we really appreciated how good we were that season. Had the heart ripped out the following season losing Marshall & Burgess to Falkirk & were never the same again!

Happy days! Irvine was excellent that game and pity he wasn’t as good when he played for us!
Was this the same season we went to Douglas Park and Durie scored a hat trick?

If the existing board had followed this policy after the previous board’s fiasco, there currently wouldn’t be an East Fife.Their substantial financial input and the sale of land saved the club.It seems a bit much not to back them now .

Does anyone know why the sale of the land wasn’t put on the open market?
