  1. Looking forward to today’s match. Cove going into the game coming off our cup loss and looking to bounce back strongly. We missed the leadership, experience, strength of Fyvie in the cup but with him back in the team it should  help us get the 3 points. No certainties in this league though.

Hopefully Glass can be as creative as ever. Fancy Harry Milne to score and Mitch to end a few games without a goal too.

Let’s see an attacking game with goals!

Think Brora will win HL and don’t see either Brora or Fraserburgh busting a gut to beat Kelty.

Kelty to beat Brechin or Albion for me.

Brora are a great side and could easily win the HL.

I’m looking forward to see how Fraserburgh get on against LL current leaders Bonnyrigg Rose in the Scottish Cup Rnd 1.

No doubting Kelty are a strong outfit too

So now we have a bit of (Betfred cup) form to go by here would be my guess:

    1st)  COVE Rangers

    2nd) Stenhoosemuir

    3rd) Queens Park

    4th) Edinburgh City

    5th) Cowdenbeath

    6th) ELGIN

    7th)  Annan Ath.

    8th) Albion Rovers

    9th)  Brechin City

    10th)  Stirling Albion

Then, Kelty Hearts to beat Stirling in the Play off final.

Decent shout there on the predicted table before a ball was even kicked this season.

I’d look out for Fraserburgh, who I think will win the highland league and come up to league 2 next season. The broch score shed loads of  goals and are a formidable side.

If it’s the broch or kelty then I fancy them beating 10th in league 2

Masson has such a great engine, another one of the many Aberdeen shouldn’t have let go....and Harry Milne fantastic

He stood out today and has done all season so far. Links well with Harry who I completely agree is quality. Such an attacking full back who can score goals but can also defend resolutely.

65% possession from Cove. Can't recall anything close to that before. We huffed and puffed and every one was willing but countless poor short passes and the wind lottery meant we gave away possession far too much. Rangers toiled with the wind too in the second but our high pressing start, which was working, wasn't sustained and all but disappeared after the second goal.

Both wing pairings were dysfunctional again and we were outmuscled all over the park in all positions bar defence. It's deja vu for Mark but Cove had the strength but much more guile than any of last year's top four. First goal was fluky but it was in the right area to be lucky. Second and third both fast and direct with great finishes. Better team won. We're definitely going to struggle unless someone turns up for goalscorer.

No such concerns for the singing section though. What appeared to be an oversized bus shelter in fact turned out to be a loudhailer. Almost as good as TNS.

Singing and support from QP fans was loud and impressive and made for a good atmosphere

  6. Looking forward to seeing Queens Park visit Balmoral park on Saturday. Agreed that our defence has conceded a few goals and especially so in the second half. That being said Fyvie, Glass, Mitch and Masson are really strong attacking threats.

Fancy Cove to score a few and win 3-1. My predictions are normally not worth the paper they are written on! Anyway looking forward to seein QP for the first time and find out the qualities they have.

  7. Cove fan here who made the journey down to Forthbank. First time at the ground and watching Stirling Albion play.

My thoughts on the game were that Cove struggled to get into gear and didn’t really play as well as in previous matches so far this season. We lacked real impetus and creativity. Having said we missed a couple of chances (Megginson) to make it 3-0 and a well taken goal by SA with 5 minutes to go made for another nervy end. Cracker of a shot from SA prior to their goal - pretty sure that crossbar will still be Reverberating right now.

Thought that SA played well in spells and with a few tweaks a bit of confidence they will pick up points.

Fyvie showed his class today. He has a great work ethic, never stops running and controls centre mid. Hope he extends until the end of the season.

Looking forward to seeing Queens Park visit Balmoral Park next weekend.

Great to be in League 2 after so many years in the SFHL and travel to new grounds.
