  1. Is DPB the latest version of Edibairn i wonder?
  2. Simon's against the perth farmers, Crunchies against Hearts in the semi and Huntly at Brockville. Scott Sloans on Sky at Dens in the cup and every single goal against the Fifer scum!! Best and wildest celebration was big Ivo's last gasp header equaliser against Scumfermline at their heap....Absolute bedlam!
  3. Just to be clear- This is a Football forum- Move on!!!!!
  4. Completely agree with you. However, we can be sure they did not "punish" themselves without something further down the road. Time will tell and it will be interesting to see what they spend and who they sign for next season. They certainly will get teams raising their game against them because of the way they handled the vote.
  5. Can only guess we will get the answer when Celtic roll up for a Pre Season Friendly at Dens and leave 2 or 3 prominent loan deals to help them out. Not sure that would have been enough to get them to change their vote though, so would not be surprised if they were funding them some other way. The whole thing stinks!!
  6. Remember parking our supporters bus in the tenement buildings opposite the away section at Parkhead around this time. As we filed off the bus we were greeted by two kids about 7 years old at the door telling everyone of us we were "Dirty ***********'s" with there Mum's, Dad's and neighbours hanging out the windows goading them on. Made me feel sick to the pit of my stomach. Often wonder what kind of lives these kids had after that.
  7. Brilliant memories and fantastic scenes that day. Walked out of Parkhead feeling about 12ft tall with the Adrenalin pumping through the veins. One of the Proudest times of being a Bairn.....Happy days.
  8. Was the "Blast Zone" not due to a product made in I.C.I and not the BP? It was therefore closer to the stadium and related to the potential amount of people in one area should an explosion happen. On this theory we were prevented from having too many seats and no 4th stand. However, you could still build houses in the nearby old town and when ASDA waved their magic dollar they grabbed it with both hands, closed down a well run FFC supporting social club and conveniently moved the dangerous chemical elsewhere to be manufactured. Don't you just love our rogue landlord that is Falkirk Council.
  9. Would still have Mackin in defence before Durnan. There are supertankers in the persian gulf that turn quicker than him.
  10. Mutch, McManus, Gomis, Connolly and Longridge are the must stay five for me, the rest can do whatever they think is best for them away from the club.
  11. it is time to put "The truth (is) out there". You are an attention seeking tosser who has been outed yet again as a complete embarrassment to our football club. Away and crawl up your own arse and disappear until 2050 or until Killie won something ya bawbag.
  12. You have taken that too far Marsh!! Remember him singing it live on the pitch and it was painful- 10 out of 10 for effort -but it was brutal.
  13. Kilmarnock winning absolutely nothing for the next 30 years will help ease this pain though! Shit town, Shit club, Shit support,
  14. And some of the lows... Neil Oliver's "goal" in 97 being chopped off - Sandy Roy= Tosser Jim Leishman's "Aeroplane" celebration. Ryan Flynn missing at Killie Stevie Naismith hat-rick in the semi at Motherwell, Pressleys " we will stay up" promise. Yogi joking with Super Ally at 2-0 down at Hampden in the semi. Lex Miller becoming Chairman.
  15. You are spot on with that post. Sure Willie Miller had the referee on remote control that night as he "influenced" every decision he gave Aberdeen, in fact, he made a pretty good career out of keeping ref's decisions in line with his thoughts!! Looking back at Simon with the league trophy on a shoogly old table at Brockville- Imagine the scenes from Health and Safety if that happened today (or May hopefully!!)
  16. So many memories.... Crunchies debut against Leeds - Amazing Wee Willie McGuire in promotion against East Fife 2-2 - Brockville Rocked that day. Crawford Baptie "concussed" v Ayr and Geordie Watson- Hilarious Aberdeen 3-3, Celtic defeat 5-4 - Most emotional games ever! Crunchie, Waddle,Sam Sam Supersam, Cadette, Parks, Latapy and so many more. Simon Stainrod - Genius- More skill than all of today's squad added together. For me ...It must be Super Tuesday, Brockville was absolutely bouncing that night, Looking along the enclosure and seeing the steam rise from everybody's head and my Dad in his late fifties giving it to the Fifers will never be bettered for me. COYB Happy new year to all Bairns.
  17. Another guess by the slowly dying FH. Judging by the borefest that Iceland served up in recent tournaments we should stay clear of this guy. The full country went mental celebrating 0-0 draws in every qualifier and group game....Mind you, the other option was to stay home and chew on Reindeer Balls
  18. Not to sure TBH but as well making sure and going into the Directors box, Kicking every single one of the MSG swift and hard in the chuckies, telling them all to GTF then ask them if you (or your friend) are banned?
  19. In hospitality yesterday and watched Kieran K go around all of the packed out suites and boxes apologising for "that performance"! Ten minutes later, three players were dragged around the same people mumbling and shrugging their shoulders, whilst showing no signs of the same passion or hurt that KK was feeling. If only Ray had had the same balls that KK had shown then maybe, just maybe this club could start to move forward from the embarrassment it has become. We are spineless with a clueless management team and are punchless on the park. We do not need an overhaul on the park but desperately need someone in the dugout who will take this shower and demand nothing less than 100% every time they step onto the park with a view to scoring more than the opposition whatever it takes.
  20. No point mate, he is most probably been bankrupt for the last 3 months and won't pay the invoice!
  21. Honestly believe we have dodged a massive bullet here... But it's time to clear out this board as it has just made a complete arse of it yet again. It is truly unbelievable that they have wasted funds on the due diligence on this complete charlatan. The clear out should start with whoever allowed the first Q&A in the stand without doing the simple checks to find the cracks that the fans found within 3 hours of MC popping up! Should that meeting have been cancelled then, the next 97 days could have been very different with this fantasy being thrown out early, and progress being made with some of the more credible bids for our club. We now require the man at the helm to look in the mirror and realise that NOBODY in the club thinks he is the correct person for the job and the only way he can salvage a crumb of self respect is to resign with immediate effect. This would allow the rest to do the same and follow him out the door as we start to rebuild this once proud football club. YOUR TIME IS UP LEX- PLEASE GO IMMEDIATELY.
  22. Apologies. The memory not quite as sharp as it was- Too many sessions in the Ellwyn with Keithgy all those years ago!! Clydebank it was.
  23. Waddle standing with two feet on the ball with his "Looking into the sun" hand on the forehead before megging the full back and running around him was pure gold. Think it was against Hamilton iirc? Players nowadays would fall off the ball, land in a heap and be out injured for 3 months.
  24. Just over 3 hours to kick off and nobody has posted about today's game! Tell's you everything about how the fans are feeling!!
  25. Change of topic required= Name the best players, 1-11 that have graced the turf of Brockville and Westfield AGAINST the mighty Bairns. Mine's would be. Theo Snelders Davie Robertson Maurice Malpas. Paul Elliot Alex Mcleish John Collins Paul Gascoine Gordon Strachan Charlie Nicholas Paulo Di Canio Davie Cooper All about opinions and ready to be slaughtered!!
