  1. Surely it is time for us fans to turn up the pressure on the board to make the decision to tell MC he is not what this club needs to move it forward. Can we boycott all hospitality, buying merchandise etc whilst this nonsense rumbles on. We could put the money saved into a fund for buying a player/paying off a Manager!!
  2. Sadly, this is how it is. It went for me 3 years ago and i do not miss it anything like i thought i would. In the end it was an easy habit to break, but how i wish i could get back on the addiction that was FFC for 30 odd years. Until somebody, somewhere re-ignites the spark, i will continue my cold turkey.
  3. With the facts/fiction that we know on MC, i cannot get my head around the fact that we would consider selling to him for 1 minute. The MSG have been disappointing for a number of seasons, but we cannot doubt that SA/AT and a couple of others are first and foremost Falkirk fans, Even Lex is not daft enough not to realise if he sells us to MC and it goes as bad as we all fear. he still has to work within the local area and open himself up to any amount of venom from raging fans should the worst happen as we suspect it might. Surely it has to be a "NO" to MC or they know something that we all don't!!
  4. McKinnon's "Plan" is on track as it is to win the league in the last minute of the last game with the last touch of the ball. In between now and that touch he is prepared to do absolutely anything to remain unbeaten and bore us all to death whilst the frustration levels rise game by game!! His pre season plan should have been to go all out attack and entertain with a view to winning this league by a double figures points margin, and a record number of goals scored. Should we win it by a lesser points margin not one of us would give a shit if we are being entertained week after week. However, in Ray's eyes, half a dozen victorious weeks with the a blip defeat in week seven is not good on his "Unbeaten run CV". Prepare to be frustrated as he will never be an entertainer.
  5. Our club has been gently going backwards for a number of years as the joy of reaching 3 Scottish cup finals in 18 Golden years raised the hopes for a full generation of fans, who began to believe this was normal for a Bairn. The older generation obviously had seen different days but you can't blame anybody for dreaming and expectation levels to rise to a new level. However, the pain of 3 defeats in these finals, especially the ICT one, combined with the demise of Brockville which has been replaced with the lesser intimidating TFS and owners who have made bad decision after bad decision has ripped the heart from our club. All of these decisions and the appointment of a number of defensive minded managers have all added to the mess we have become. We can only hope that we can get out of this league at the first attempt, the MSG sell to the correct person/people and we begin to move forward and fulfill our potential. The positive is that the unbelievable loyalty shown by Bairns fans gives us some hope for the future. Think it's time all fans pulled in the same direction and pray everything on and off the park works out for the best.
  6. 100% Certain agent McBride and Hanagan Hotels owner met with the MSG a number of months ago at the same time. Mr Hanagan is based in America. Could it be possible that MC is a front for him and the MSG are aware of this, and this is the reason they are going along with this??
  7. I have been a Bairn for over 40 years and would have labelled myself as a "Diehard" having went home and away to every game including pre season and every diddy cup match. I decided after the 2015 Final i could not put myself through the hurt anymore and decided to fill my Saturday's in other ways. I have been back on a number of occasions, but find myself asking "why" by half time every single time. The facts are that Scottish football is garbage with the standards dropping year on year, you can't tackle any more and the passion has gone. Falkirk fans watch an uninspiring team playing negative "let's not lose" football in a stadium that has little atmosphere. I read these pages everyday and have recently notice more and more diehards have, or about to give this habit up! This is worrying times for the club with neither MSG and Lex or MC the answer. From the outside looking in, it feels like we are witnessing the slow death of our club, with nothing to attract people back, or replacement fans to replace us. Sad times indeed. COYB.
