  1. Top 3 looking like Celtic, Glasgow City and Spartans. On Pre season fixtures I think Hibs, Hutchison Vale and Kilmarnock will struggle but hopefully be proved wrong. Celtic will be tough to beat. Seen that Spartans beat Hibs 10-1 a few weeks back.
  2. With the season starting next week for the NP Teams who's the favourites and who's recruited well?
  3. Glasgow city will run away with it with rangers and celtic close. All 3 have brilliant managers and recruited well. I think hibs will struggle this year. Lost alot of players and appointed a manager who will struggle to attract players to the club.
  4. If you think 2 years ago EUHV beat hearts 1-0 in the league. Fast forward 2 years and one has folded and the other has thrived and has been promoted.
  5. Great to see boroughmuir thistle take the spot of Hutchison Vale. No full Womens pathway at Hutchsion Vale which is massive in the girls game.
  6. Knocked out scottish cup by a lower team also and no national performance set up at the club so no players coming through.
  7. No relegation this season. next season 1 down and 1 in a playoff so will no doubt be another tough season
  8. Imagine being so petty as to refuse YFS's request to film your game just because your opponents are being presented with a trophy and then claiming your parents objected when most of them knew nothing about it. Weird as they allowed the BBC to film them the week before. Crazy that some clubs will spite others success.
  9. Think a clear out is needed of coaches to be fair. looking at final tables all teams finished either bottom or second bottom and lost more games than they won and it has been like that for years
  10. Cant see that by looking at the league table. think Hutchison Vale going to be hitting -230 goals this season. results seem to be getting worse rather than better. seems like a sinking ship with the Hutchison vale womens team and girls section as a whole from what I have seen
  11. When hearts beat Hutchison Vale this sunday as it's just about the amount of goals that they score then all hearts need is a draw in there last game as they will hold a 3 point lead going into the final group of games
  12. Hearts Women HEARTS WOMEN HOST HUTCHIE VALE IN REARRANGED GAME 5th November 2019 Heart of Midlothian Women will face Hutchison Vale this weekend in a rearranged SWPL 2 fixture. The original encounter, on September 22nd, was cancelled after Hutchison Vale did not field a team and Hearts were subsequently awarded a 3-0 victory. However, in the interests of sporting integrity, the club decided to appeal this decision by the League Management Committee and request that the match be rescheduled. Both Hearts and Hamilton Academical have both enjoyed a standout season in SWPL 2 and sit at the top of the league on the same number of points. With the real possibility of the league title, and with it promotion to SWPL 1, being decided on goal difference, the club felt it was only right and fair to stage the Hutchison Vale fixture and afford the players the chance to better the default 3-0 victory. The club therefore presented its case to the Scottish Women’s Football Appeals Panel and on October 29th the appeal was upheld, meaning the match will now take place this Sunday. The club would like to place on record its appreciation at the professionalism and diligence shown in the hearing of the appeal, and the club believes that by ensuring this fixture be played that the sporting integrity of the league competition is being adhered to. Kick off on Sunday (November 10th) is 12.30pm at Oriam and the club hopes that as many supporters as possible will turn out to cheer on the side in their penultimate game of the season
  13. Thought people would like to see tables and the breakdown of what each Edinburgh clubs have to offer in terms of youth and development. Grounds Hibernian - HTC Hearts - Oriam Spartans - Ainslie Park Boroughmuir - Meggatland Hutchison Vale - Saughton Park Some great facilities within Edinburgh used by some clubs that allow there youth teams to play at these facilities. Hearts now use Oriam which have brilliant facilities. Hibernian have HTC which has its own gym. Spartans have Ainslie park which plays host to Hibernian Ladies, Edinburgh City and both Spartans mens and womens teams. Boroughmuir have meggatland which has 3g and grass pitches. Hutchison Vale use different places and dont have a place that all girls team play at. They mainly use saughton park for games. Scotland Internationals at any Level Hibernian 4+ Spartans 3+ Hearts 3+ Boroughmuir 2+ Hutchison Vale 0 womens team SWPL1 Hibernian Spartans SWPL2 Hearts Hutchison Vale Other leagues Boroughmuir Under 17s Hearts Hibernian Boroughmuir x 2 Hutchison Vale Under 15s national Performance Hearts Hibernian Boroughmuir Under 15s Hibernian dev Hearts Spartans dev Boroughmuir dev Hutchison Vale Under 13s Hibernian x 3 teams Hearts x 2 teams Spartans x 2 teams Boroughmuir x 3 teams Hutchison Vale Under 11s Hibernian Hearts Spartans Boroughmuir Hutchison Vale Under 9s Hibernian Hearts Spartans Boroughmuir Hutchison Vale I have attached all league tables also to give people a look at where clubs are currently sitting. It's good to see that Boroughmuir National Performance won the League cup. Sometimes it's good to see all the facts before going to make a decision on what club is best for you and your daughter.
  14. Main reason is that every team are taking about 10/15 goals off Hutchison Vale every game so if the league is drawn on points it will go down to goal difference.
  15. [https://www] The Appeal’s Committee of the Board of Scottish Women’s Football (SWF) yesterday considered Heart of Midlothian’s appeal against the Perform and Win Committee’s decision, communicated on Monday 7th October. Having listened carefully to all of the submissions, including written and also having considered the terms of the League and Cup Competition Rules 10(f)(g) and (h), the Appeals Committee did consider that there were extenuating circumstances here and as such decided to set aside the decision of the Perform and Win Committee to the following extent: By recalling the award of the unplayed fixture 3 – 0 win in favour of Hearts Women FC. By substituting the decision that the match be replayed. By referring matters back to the Perform and Win Committee to arrange the replayed fixture noting that the date of Sunday, 10 November 2019 is available. By reducing the fine imposed by the Perform and Win Committee on Hutchison Vale to the activated suspended fine of £500 only dated 9 May 2019 in addition to Hearts Women FC’s venue hire charges from the scheduled fixture. In reaching this decision the Appeals Committee also noted that if the fixture is not fulfilled, expulsion is a sanction available to the Perform and Win Committee in terms of League and Cup Competition Rule 10(h). The result and league tables will be updated accordingly. SWF will make no further comment on this matter.

  18. Scottish Women’s Football (SWF) were advised by the Perform and Win Committee that they had considered a breach of competition rules by Hutchison Vale, pertaining to their Scottish Building Society SWPL 2 fixture against Heart of Midlothian (September 22nd). The club have been fined £1200 (£600 suspended) and the match has been awarded 3-0 to Heart of Midlothian. The Perform and Win committee also operates as the League Management Committee and is chaired by SWF Board member Karen McGowan. This committee is comprised of 3 Scottish FA nominated personnel, and 3 club representatives from across the senior women’s game. This committee is responsible for governing the senior game in accordance with the League and League Cup competition rules. After convening a meeting, the committee determined that the below rule had been breached: Competition Rule 10(h): “Any club without just cause failing to fulfil its fixture obligations in respect of any such match in the League on the appointed date or dates shall be liable to such sanctions as the Management Committee may determine, but not limited to including the deduction of points, fine or expulsion.” The committee agreed that Hutchison Vale did not have just cause for failing to fulfil their fixture, the club will be fined £1200 with £600 suspended until the 24th November 2019 and the result of the match be awarded 3-0 to Heart of Midlothian. Should Hutchison Vale breach any further competition rules within this time frame the club will be liable to pay the full sanction. Hutchison Vale were fined £1000 with £500 suspended on 9th May 2019. As a new offence has occurred, Hutchison Vale are now liable to pay the previously suspended £500 fine. The committee noted that a breach of Competition Rule 10(h) is not acceptable within the Scottish Women’s Premier League. The result and league table have been updated accordingly. SWF will make no further comment on this matter.
