Falkirk next - they’ll either remain firmly in the back pocket but are probably due a result against us 🤣

In total control till sending off not convinced with Wardrop at all, the decision to sub Easton was a shocker as was taking Gal off leave McGill on when he was struggling. Then the panic set in Currie's intervention in helping the player up was good fun though imo he is not as good as the manager thinks.

Was thoroughly enjoying the game till the sending felt deflated after that as the game management to see the game out was poor at best ♦️

I don't believe the system we play matters too much, or even the tactics for this side. After the QOS game Murray stated that the game was simply about 11 v 11 and in that statement he was pretty much saying that the players have to win the battles with their conterpart. Look at yesterday, how many of our players won their 'personal'  battles? I don't honestly know how you change this, other than getting in a tough ball winning midfielder who can inspire those around him.

As the manager said they were quicker, stronger, fitter and better than us ...that explains it cheers me up no end 🤔.

Easton needed to be on at half time. Cannot for the life of me understand why you'd opt for the third striker when there's no creativity on the park. When Easton came on he done well and I do think that a midfield three of him, Agnew, and McCabe can be good but that was dire to watch.

Gutless,  clueless and hopeless bout summed it up imo.♦️

The lot of an Airdrie fan indeed. I suppose if my takeaway lets me down there are other outlets, whereas the emotional link to the Diamonds is never likely to be broken. Captive audience syndrome.

Expected the prices to rise as you say almost everything has and  as long as the quality of performance increase along with the price hike ...like some say would be a concern if we have a poor start to the season ♦️

The central midfield area is still my big worry with only really McCabe sort of proven.

Agnew (who i was a big fan of) is shot unfortunately and although he might produce a great set piece or pass, that's a luxury we can't afford and he is destined for the full time assistant managers job.

McDonald simply does not look good enough but as mentioned perhaps is better suited to the wing back role.

    Mabawsa, again not good enough.

Scott McGill may well turn out fine but too early to say.

I don't really count Easton as a "midfielder" as he is more of "in the hole" type player. I only see us starting with 1 up front when Easton comes back into the side, which hopefully is next week.

Got too add that Willie Gibson's performance yesterday was a joy to watch for a near 37 year old, in fact outstanding regardless of age. A footballing lesson for Sam Wardrop!!

Spot on midfield is a concern also the number of players out injured and season has not  got going properly.

I hope yesterday was just a bad day at the office as the performance was concerning to say the least,  McCabe was sorely missed and while QoS a league above us they are no world beaters.

Had put the diamonds on at 10/1 to win the league 🤣 still onwards and upwards will be a tight league ♦️

Aye, I was just judging Alloa on our game last season and with Ferguson coming in, strange move after gaining promotion with Kelty, suppose he has jumped a league,

We always have the proposed reconstruction lol.

The manager now has his players and team all be it couple to come or needed. Clearly his plan and not last minute signings so let's see if they can gel into a team who can challenge ♦️

Lighten up, if you look at paton,  how many folk on here were giving it

"Signing a lowland league reject isn't going to do anything for our play off chances" etc etc

As a fan base we are so quick to judge on boys we've not even seen play for us.

Going by the logic of people on here we can't sign anyone from the teams that finished below us....so that leaves the championship or Partick as a pool for us to choose from and we just cant compete wages wise with that. And would we want to burst ourselves to try and get promotion if it meant risk the finances of the club on a gamble ?

Like I've mentioned, but you ignored , am I over the moon/happy clapping about our signings,  not overly no. But am I going to wait to see them play before making a decision,  absolutely , cause its bloody mental to make an assumption like that. But then if you see someone as "attacking the fans" because they disagree with you I guess that speaks volumes of the mindset folk are in.

Let's have a laugh with it , pint in the stadium bar (god willing) if we turn out to be honking ?

Welcome to the AFC P&B lol ♦️
