Foremost Poets - Reasons To Be Dismal

Climbed Ben Vorlich last Friday. It's a decent walk - great views on the top. Didn't fancy climbing Stuc a Croin on a wet day so came back. I would recommend doing Vorlich on its own, great path all the way up.

I watched it for the first time in five years or so last week. Felt a bit pervy.

Did it from Succoth/Cobbler side, it was quite dull but I couldn't see anything beyond fifty yards. I couldn't believe how busy the Cobbler was, there was a 'traffic jam' of people at one stage. Might go back and do it and Narnairn on a quieter weekday.

Did Beinn Ime today, has to resort to mapreading with a compas to find my way up, it was misty as f**k. Then at the top found dozens of runners doing the Arrochar race over the top. Absolute fucking nutcases doing four Munros.

I think Livvy got their comeuppance for the Kachloul affair when we relegated them with Hunt punching the ball into the net. I don't think any fellow fan really wants them to go bust.

Did Ben Chonzie on Saturday, the heat was a killer but it soon cooled off. Pretty much straight forward and slightly boring but the views at the top made it worthwhile. I didn't see any of the hares all the guides were mentioning? Started at 10 and made it back down for 2, seemed okay. Going to try Ben Venue next week. Thanks for the advice earlier on in the thread.

Nice one, I see that it is ranked 11th. Some Munros I guess are easier than Corbettes, I did Ben Ledi, that seemed quite difficult.

Thinking of doing Ben Chonzie on Saturday, seems like an easy-ish climb? Any advice would be welcome.

The long street just down from Airdrie's ground at the roundabout is nice. Worst area round a ground in Scotland without a doubt has to be Parkhead.

Grand Tourino - 8/10. Great story but seems like a bit of an ego trip for Eastwood seen as he directed it.

Quantum Of Solace Very stylish film, on a par with the Bourne films and very realistic, Craig is the best bond since Connery. Keep up the good work. 8.5/10
