Craig Johnston, very good player, recently back from injury so hasn't featured much this season.

He is on loan from Partick. Loan recently extended to the end of the season. Very popular at Partick and was surprised at the extension. Rumour was this was a sweetener for the transfer of one of our other players to them (who didn't feature today, worryingly)

Montrose should have had this game wrapped up by half time. A commanding performance though and well worth the win. Just wish we could be more clinical in front of goal, the ball seems to always get tangled in feet, or one pass too many is made. We also seem to be prone to sucker punches....dominate a game, then opposing team sweeps up the park and scores with ease. The guys worked hard today though and we got the three points.....our form is championship winning, dare i say it?

Nice touch the Falkirk fans clapping the Montrose U16's team on their lap of honour for winning the league.

As stated Picture House probably best bet, it's a Bellhaven Wetherspoons type of place beside the railway station and just off the High St. You can park in the Tesco which is 10 seconds drive away.

There were two concrete blocks behind the terracing with nothing in them apart from a drainage trough all the way round, which didn't drain. Most folk just pished against the wall outside.
