  1. I get where you are coming from but for me we should try Alfie or McKenna up front first if big Ross wasn’t fit.
  2. Free hit for us, even a pumping would not be unexpected by anyone outside Falkirk fans and anyone connected to the club. Go play the way we know we can and just see how it goes. Even another 8-1 gubbing would not tarnish in any way, shape or form the love and respect I have for this current manager and his team. They have given us so much in the past season and a bit.
  3. I think we’ve shown so far that we have the squad to cope with injuries in some positions. Nisbett and Morrison being out we have able replacements in Oliver, Agyeman and Ross. The only injury that I think we might struggle to replace would be MacIver but Alfie could maybe go in there and McKenna could also be tried. I would rather get players we have on longer contracts just now and if in January we are looking a bit thin on the ground and still in the hunt, maybe bring a couple in. I am happy though to trust in the management team, they know best.
  4. I think you’re right, that was years ago. I’m sure the last person that had the Toll, the one that used to tout for away buses took delight in telling away fans how much of a dislike he had for Falkirk.
  5. His relation owns the Abbotsinch and if the stories I heard are true he didn’t think opening the pub exclusively as a Celtic bar was a good idea and for that reason didn’t get involved. That could be just rumours though.
  6. I agree, I would need to see the sums involved before I’d think diverting money from anywhere other than JM’s budget was a good idea. Different if we were in the top flight and cash rich but as I say I’d want to see how much we are talking.
  7. I used to drink in the Zetland and can’t think of a Falkirk fan running the place, been shut a while now though. Cesars is definitely Celtic fans, I’ve never been in since it opened. One of my mates went in one night and said it’s not the most welcoming place for folk of a non Celtic persuasion so that was enough for me.
  8. Should Celtic not be making wholesale changes here ahead of the big one on Sunday.
  9. Yeah I agree, I think Celtic are totally on a different planet to anything else in Scotland these days. With the finances they have and are likely to build in the CL you can’t see them not winning the league for a long time.
  10. I’ve got a tenner on Dylan to score anytime, got him at 20/1 so I would love him to score as well and then give it the big un to the Green Brigade. It’s been a long long time since I’ve seen a player taking to full time football as comfortably as Keelan has, I honestly think we have an international player in the making on our hands.
  11. Watching the game and don’t think Bratislava have the quality we do. Can’t see anyone in that side that would get in ours, no Dylan Tait, Brad Spencer’s in that team. Wonder what will go through Keelans head on Sunday, last season Lowland League, this season Celtic Park in front of a massive crowd on live TV, I bet he won’t look out of place too.
  12. Hope it goes well for Ola, was in hospitality last season when him and Finn came in and he was really nice. Deserves legend status for his antics at Cove
  13. I agree, it’s that boring just now at McDiarmid that folk are queuing up to die, think Saints will look elsewhere.
  14. Time will tell, but I would think Scott Brown would be a more attractive option for St Johnstone than McGlynn.
  15. I agree, if John was a young manager I think his head could maybe be turned by money but I don’t think that would be his main motivation. He’s 62/63, building something at Falkirk and if he stayed with us you could see him retiring in a few years and moving upstairs as a club legend in an Alex Totten type role. Plus if he stays there is a fair chance we could be swapping places with them come the end of the season.
  16. Well he did come and meet us and he certainly blew our minds so I agree he is a Starman.
  17. Me too, I like that Fanbase app, easy to use and like how the tickets go into your Apple wallet.
  18. Loved the O’Neills interview, really interesting and the thought of a chessboard retro has me very excited
  19. I 100% agree, my nieces boy is 11 and this is his first season going to games. He comes from a Celtic supporting family, but has now come to us and it’s the Ultras that have done this. His pals were going and once he sampled a taste for it he’s hooked. They have totally transformed my match day experience and I’m 58, they have been a revelation and I can’t praise them enough. To think some moaned about the drum when the idea was first muted COYB U1876
  20. We obviously don’t know what is going on but hopefully Callumn is getting all the support he needs just now.
  21. The build up play was pure filth and Dylan’s ball to play in the goal machine was superb.
  22. Allez Allez Allez oh Allez Allez Allez oh Falkirk FC That will be 43
