  1. I’m going to contact Michael White, thank you
  2. That sounds great, I’ll email the club to see if they would want any of the things I have.
  3. All these pictures and tales of Brockville has got me wondering if the club have any thoughts on having an area in the stadium where they could display memorabilia. My Grandfather was a Hearts fan and I had an official Hearts tie from the 1950’s that was given to me when he died which I donated to Hearts as they have a museum at Tynecastle. I’ve got stuff like the top of the concrete bollard from Hope Street terrace at Brockville, I’ve also got a Brockville mug that’s still in the original packaging and other stuff. I’ve no sons and I know for a fact when I croak they will get binned. If the club had any thoughts for an area to display stuff like this I would give them it as I’d like future fans to see things that are a part of our past. I might actually email the club and see if this is something they would consider in the future. I’m sure there are others out there with far better stuff than me who would consider donating it. Likewise I’m sure that visitors to the stadium would love to see items from the clubs history.
  4. I agree but if there isn’t anyone in midfield to take the ball then, they should resort to plan B and get it as far away from our box as possible. I’m not blaming our defenders I just don’t think they should constantly be trying to play out when at times it isn’t on.
  5. I think a lot of this is on the manager, he should be seeing that Donaldsons confidence needs a wee bit building and telling him if in doubt do the simple things. At the moments we are watching League One defenders trying to constantly play as if they are playing for Man City. I don’t get on there backs but there are times when playing out from the back and, if they are under threat the ball needs booted as far from our penalty box as possible, regroup and then try and get possession back. If Lang had put that ball into the back of the stand on Tuesday then we would not have lost that goal.
  6. Ultras is a young persons thing, I’m not at all embarrassed by it but then I’m late 50’s and life has taught me that trends come and go. If it’s adding to the game experience for the younger folk then good on them and if it gets some folk attending games because of us having them who might not have become Falkirk fans then that’s a double bonus.
  7. I sit in the Grangemouth end of the KM and didn’t hear anything last night but I have heard it before. We should all start booing it whenever it’s sung and the club should start handing out bans for those identified. Self policing is the only way to stop this. On a side note, I thought the young Ultras gave the team tremendous backing last night and the drum was fine. Keep it up
  8. McGlynn could eradicate most of our mistakes simply, just tell the defenders if they can safely play the ball about the back that’s fine, if they can’t then there’s no shame in booting it to f**k. I’m nae Pep but it’s as easy as that for me.
  9. No neither would I, I’m still hoping for a loan signing.
  10. I’m usually really critical of McGlynn but I honestly didn’t see much between the teams tonight. I thought we played well enough but we need to stop fannying about at the back and we need to be better at taking our chances. The one thing I will pass criticism on is the continual use of McGinn, he is done and we need to get energy into that midfield, we looked better with Yeats in there and McKay at RB. It’s not all doom and gloom, let’s see how we fair against the better teams in our own league.
  11. I didn’t think there was much between the sides, one bit of fannying about at the back cost us big time. We were so much better last 15 when we got at them and played with two up top, McIver wins a lot in the air but knocks it down to no one when he is isolated up top on his own. That ref was a clown, why no red card at the end when the last man took our player out.
  12. Ah memories “You’re going home in a Falkirk ambulance”
  13. I prefer Reflektor or Afterlife but maybe not talking about a team running out to it
  14. What link do we have to Local Hero, that’s a Newcastle Utd song.
  15. I would have them running out to The Ramones Blitzkreig Bop and we could all shout “Hey Ho Let’s Go”, fast as f**k and would get us all revved up and ready to go.
  16. I saw that on the FFC TV highlights and it was clear. I think the ref had blown up for a foul before it happened so it wouldn’t have been given anyway.
  17. I like the fact a lot of youngsters are setting up the Ultra group as TFS especially has lacked atmosphere and I hope it rectifies this. I just wish some of the younger members of our support would drop the Norrie chants that were apparently being sung in a pub yesterday, it’s horrible and there is no place for that kind of shite.
  18. Just watched the Falkirk TV highlights, that was some interception by Lang in the second half to stop the Thistle player having a run in on goal, he looks really solid and hopefully him and Coll can form a great partnership.
  19. Looking forward to it, hope all the old moaners suck it up
  20. What I saw of the stream today the Falkirk fans certainly made a lot of noise. Take it the Ultra lads were out in force, without wanting to start a war, has the drum been introduced yet.
  21. I agree pal the injury situation is a bit of a worry, we seem to have a lot out before a ball is really kicked in anger.
  22. Got tickets for Depeche Mode in Glasgow next January. Was going to take the wife back to Berlin in Feb to see them, had flights and hotel for a decent price, went into Ticketmaster DE and they wanted €700 for 2 tickets. Bands really need to tell Ticketmaster to go f**k themselves, they are ripping fans off big time.
