I tend to agree with Chungus but I do agree it’s all about opinions. I concede it might work in some games and not in others, I just hope McGlynn realises this and rests McGinn from time to time.

Just looked at the league cup table on BBC News and on the SPFL site and it’s got us on 4 points, are we not on 5 points. Was just trying to work out what we need to get through.

I think a midfield of either McGinn or Spencer with the likes of Yeats, Oliver, Lawal, Nesbitt etc providing the energy is the way ahead. Even put Hendo in there when more caution is needed. What I saw of the game today though we looked really decent and can take a lot of heart going into our league campaign.

Managed to get the stream to work just as Thistle equalised the first time. Decent display and good bonus point. Yeats and Ola in midfield have so much more energy that McGinn and Spencer, again I will say it McGinn looks done. Great strike from Alfie and it means our destiny is in our hands at the Falkirk Stadium.

I’m the same, not getting anything now. Tried TV and iPad and nothing. I’ve watched loads of away clubs TV and this is definitely the worst.

My Thistle TV coverage is blurry as f**k, is this the reason they as if you are a home of away fan, shite camera for away fans and the good one for home fans.

If after say the first quarter of league games we are well off the pace or like last season we have failed to beat any of the considered challengers (Cove, QOS, Hamilton), he will quite rightly be facing the wrath of the fans. I didn’t like what I saw after about the first 20 mins last night, but I’ll cut him a bit slack as it’s very early doors and there was a large numbers of first team players out last night.

Just watched the highlights on Falkirk TV and felt we created more clearer cut chances that I could see on the Spartans live coverage. Felt McIver was a bit unlucky with the chance in the second half and done well to get on the end of it. Hopefully once we get the full squad back we will get a better idea of how McGlynn sees his best starting 11. I was a bit worried after the final whistle last night but I’m prepared to wait and see how it pans out before the league campaign starts.

I’ve a horrible feeling we might see a carbon copy of last season where we do okay against most of the league but struggle against the likes of Cove, Hamilton and QOS. I hope I’m wrong but I’m a bit concerned old frailties might rear their head again.

That wasn’t a good watch, too much of last season in that performance. The only saving grace for McGlynn for me was the amount of players we had missing. McGinn and Spencer doesn’t work, McCann is better than Mackie and Agyeman needs to stop thinking he can beat everyone. Apart from that it all looks good.

It happens all the time, we played a bit decent football first half, fail to convert chances and then we concede and it’s panic stations. How many times are we going to see this scenario pan out.

Spartans look physically stronger and fitter than us. What the f**k is going on with us.

We have absolutely shit all options going forward and McGinn is breathing out his arse again. It’s very early days but I can feel the gloom descending over me again, I’m honestly not confident.
