  1. Must win game for alloa as well, playing decent football at times but the  goals we are losing is schoolboy stuff.  I hope peter grant does the right thing and drops his son as his contribution is poor to say the least.  I would go with same team as last week  but bring trouten in for grant  but no sure that will happen. They have to go for it.

Didn’t expect to be saying this before the game but that’s 2 points dropped today. Think that own goal goes down as one of those things that happens when you’re down at the bottom. Shame as we looked very comfortable at 2-1.

Second half was a pretty good performance, with Cawley looking really strong late on.

Williamson should be proud of his performance today, goal aside, he played very well and you could see the confidence growing in him throughout the second half.

Cameron and Connelly linked well again up top. As much stick as Peter Grant has taken this season, his decision to bring Connelly in over the last month or so has been a very good one as it’s taking a bit of pressure off how much running Cameron was having to do.

Thought Liam Dick had a very good game today, as did the rest of the defence as a whole.

Decent results for us elsewhere but that probably should have been a win today.

Grant needs to step up and drop his son. We are playing a man short with him in there now. Could justify what each of the other 10 players brought to that game today, but wholeheartedly cannot give an example of what Ray Grant is

Surely paddy connolly has some input into team selectionsand musr see what were all seeing regarding grant, his effort to track the boy at the first goal was awful n so much so Andy graham came over and we lost a man in the box cause of it, he brings nothing to the team

I decided it was a bit unfair on the Cowden fans.

The debate is daft though. Obileye went over the ball with studs up. Whether he meant to hurt Grant or not - and I'm sure he didn't - that is a red card offence. Some refs might have given him the benefit of the doubt but he'd have been fortunate to just get a yellow. It's not a great injustice and calling it a "foot trod" is moronic.

The comparison with other incidents don't stand up. Graham got a yellow which was the correct decision.

Some QoS fans tried to create a narrative in the last game that there some kind of tactic to take out Connor Shields. That was daft. The idea that you were robbed yesterday is similarly flawed.

I'm sure this is the same referee that sent Liam Dick off last season against inverness for a similar challenge to obileye's yesterday. He does appear to be a bit card happy

He seemed to be looking right at Dapo while shouting, how that’s only a yellow is beyond me. He could have seriously injured him grabbing him round his neck and throwing him to the ground.

That's because it is a yellow, different if he was last man,

Just saw it there. Are seriously suggesting that's a red? He stood on his foot ffs. I assumed he had caught he on the leg. An absolutely awful decision. I hope we appeal.

Lol that's the most biased summary off it yet, its a harsh red although letter of the law i can see why its been given although I would be disappointed if it was an Alloa player

2nd half just totally stop start with all the fouls.

Decent performance overall, but could have done with all 3 points.

Not sure what the hell Trouten’s red was for?! It looked like something might have happened in the build up and not sure if Trouts has retaliated, but that was around the centre circle, certainly not on the edge of the box where he gave the Caley free kick?!

Trouten should have been subbed long before that, he's not kicked a ball for weeks

First the positive Raith TV was excellent quality and well worth the £12, really enjoyed the Greig Spence interview, well done guys and you have a good exciting team to watch for the rest of the season.

Now for the negative, thought we played okay for about 70 minutes but Grant's habit of not changing either the starting line up or making subs has come back to haunt us. For me he should walk, we are going down whether he stays or goes.

Persisting with ray grant in the middle of the park with hetherington out wde is gonna cost him in more ways than one, grant brings nothing to the team.

Midweek factor again there, we looked absolutely knackered in the last half hour. Thought we might still have managed it though and there was a decent chance to make it 2-0, but after a great hit from Duffy we were all at sea. Inverness should never have allowed us back after going ahead but terrific spirit from Alloa again to keep going and force a draw in the end.

So fucking obvious that Grant needs to play Hetherington in the middle of the park. Why can't he try Stevie as deep lying CM with Grant Jnr a bit further on with the focus on through balls? Worth a shot surely. We battled well tonight but we played much better at East End on Saturday.

Anyway, would have been sore to take nothing from that and it keeps us alive, almost.

The ICT stream ran fine and no pixelot issues. I felt a bit sorry for the commentator who doesn't sound like he is a big football fan but was clearly doing his best. Auld was better but the young lad was then struggling with the punditry role. Arbroath is never an easy to go right enough.

He has to play hetherington central , as you seen on Saturday he's much more dominant in there and reads the game better. Good pass through by grant for the goal but you can't live off that and he doesn't offer enough. Good point though.

It’s weird, we’ve beaten them most times through there quite easily yet look like compete diddys at home. They just start dominating the midfield and we seem clueless as to what to do. This is going back to AJ days as well. Not matching them man for man in midfield is maybe the reason?
Yes we should go on the front foot but not with Lewis Mayo and Wilson hetherington had them on toast. Another good midfielder from Alloa, like flannigan last season who I thought was arguably better than any other at what he did.

Yes I thought dunfermline completely lost a foothold in midfield and youre manager done nothing to change it, I also think its no coincidence hetherington had as good a game as he had without ray grant in there, I don't think they compliment each other at all. Hes not as dominant when grants in there. I hope peter grant keeps the team the same for Tuesday night.

  10. Three away games coming though

My views are big neilly needs a few weeks out. He's struggled for a few, games now. We have the back up keeper to do it. One thing for sure it wouldn't be long term just a few,

As much as parry  has been brilliant over the piece I think he's struggled to get back to fitness after injuries. He's still pulling  off good saves but I think a few of the goals he's lost have shown a lack o mobility about him. The goal yesterday was a shortish pass back but I think he was a bit slow in getting out to clear and he almost got caught in 2nd half as well alhough he did keep us in the game with a good 2nd half save.  Don't think he deserves to be dropped but the manager must be thinking  about  something when he's brought this guy up from forest. Or is it just cover with neils past injury problems.
