If you make a decision and lay down a precedent then immediately say that it was the wrong thing to do, then you would obviously open yourself up to legal action. If the dust settles and time passes then sure, but its quite a simple case to make - why is this the right decision today but wasn't 6 months ago.

The issue of checkpoints is interesting but the SPFL have now set a precedent. Going forward, this precedent is as good as a rule. If the SPFL was to decide that checkpoints are more appropriate then they'd open themselves up to legal action from the clubs who lost out under the current situation vs checkpoints. Basically, this decision to end the league as is will be the rule for the foreseeable future due to the setting of a legally-binding precedent.

Nicky Cadden - 10/10 Been our best player by a mile and is one of the best players in the league. Rare to have a winger at this level who actually has a consistent end product. Jack Baird - 6/10 Think some of our support overestimate him because of how bad our other defenders are. Luca Colville - 7/10 Looks tidy and looking forward to seeing him progress. Kalvin Orsi - 7/10 Really grew into his role. Think he has mixed it up and glad he will be staying. Stephen Welsh - 3/10 Was played out of position. Billy King - 0/10 Sean McGinty - 4/10 Brian McLean - 2/10 Finished. Cameron Salkeld - 6/10 Not seen enough of him. Peter Grant - 3/10 Finished at this level. Cameron Blues - 5/10 Not as bad as people say. Not going to stand out but Dykes bad. Adam Livingston - 1/10 Didnt see him. Robbie Muirhead - 1/10 Kris Doolan - 1/10 Sam Ramsbottom - 0/10 Henk van Scheik - 0/10
