  1. Absolutely no way Anya and Snodgrass would get into the current Scotland team.
  2. I'm pretty confident Dalglish would get in the side ahead of Christie. We're doing well because we have a better balanced team and squad than previous generations comprising a fair amount of players performing at a good level domestically. We have good players in just about every position with less obvious weak areas to exploit.
  3. Billy is a good player who needs to nail down a regular starting place at club level. Both can true, doesn't have to be one or the other.
  4. Never mind that. Is he still ahead of Luca Modric at the same age?
  5. I'm sure Gilmour won't be that bothered that he's ahead of where Dewsbury Hall is at the same age. He'll have his own targets and I'm sure comparing himself with Jacob Ramsay doesn't form any part of them. I'd imagine that he'll be more than a little disappointed that in 12 months he's went from starting in the Premier League every week and starting for his country every game to being on the bench for both. He's either going to have to be patient for at least another 6 months or try to get out on loan again as he's well down the pecking order at Brighton currently.
  6. He's dropping way down the pecking order. Needs to get himself out on loan for the rest of the season. Preferably not to Ibrox though.
  7. I think your argument falls down when you start counting injury time time wasting substitutions as meaningful appearances.
  8. Ramsay and Doak are the two stand out prospects currently
  9. McGinn starts and completes 90 minutes as Villa earn a good win away to Brighton. I guess folk can stop panicking now. Good players will always find their way back into the team. Hopefully the rest did him some good.
  10. We don't have a competitive gane until March? A lot can happen between now and then.
  11. Ah I see. So if the boot was on the other foot and Hearts had been knocked out of the league cup and Hibs were in the Europa League would you be OK with the game going ahead?
