Ten goals in his whole career , no thanks .

Was going to go with a homesick Ryan Hardie but he played today at Plymouth today or another homesick Ross Stewart but can’t see it . Clutching at straws here ,!

<<<<<<< DRINAN WATCH >>>>>>>>>
I see he started for Ipswich today in the EFL Cup v Bristol Rovers and set up the first goal. He got 70 mins before being subbed.
I still think its unlikely we'll get him in this window given the game time he has been getting. However, he could be an option in January though if he doesn't get into the Ispwich first 11.
Anyone got any shouts of who the striker might be?
Not much of any note on any of the lists , so either it’s a guy still involved at a club , maybe stagnating , maybe home sick , or didn’t Kerr say he wasn’t that concerned about strikers ? Perhaps he’ll go with Zanatta at 9 with McKenzie backing him up .

’m quite excited to see what we add next week now. Sounds like it’ll be a striker and a GK to finish off the starting XI and a couple loans over the following weeks to beef out the squad.
If Kerr chooses to bring in a keeper as his permanent signing on say a two year deal , it would mean our defence and keeper would be together for the next couple of seasons . This would allow them to bed in as a unit and could only stand us in good stead . Although an Aero and Baird combo in central defence would be to say the least abrasive.
Hopefully if a striker comes in it’s Drinam . We can do without a two goals a season show pony .
Now onto the loans as fillers bit , it would be strange for clubs to put they’re young players out on loans to Ayr on a development basis when we are of the thinking that they’ll be used as cover or to beef up the squad . So maybe the loans will be mature players who are no longer in the plans at their clubs . Who knows , Mark and Mick are pretty hard to read .....

For the activity in this window the board and the management team deserve a huge amount of credit .

1 permanently and 1 loan to ensure we have cover in all areas , then 2/3 additional loanees
Pretty cryptic stuff Robbo . Can I ask if we’re shipping anybody out in this window .

McGinn still not snapped up .

Muirhead is a right sided centre half with Roscoe a left . If this guy Baird can play both it gives us plenty of options on the partnership and as others have said gives us options of some height in midfield . Still think we’ll sign a midfielder that can also cover left back though .

Jack Baird released from St Mirren. I’d take him at Ayr. Morton fans seemed to rate him. Suspect he may be on his way back there.
Investing that he was contracted at Saints until 2021 .

McGavin was on trial and Kerr didn’t take him so I doubt he’s a target. Drinan looks unlikely right now.
Ndaba is the oneOn McGavin , young players can improve very quickly !

Or the Ipswich three could be back on the cards !

Maybe McKenzie is the player to be out sourced as we still have Moore and Moff as cover as well as the three amigos from the midfield . This is all assuming we get the mystery centre forward we’ve been waiting on . Come on Mark get on with it !

Tomorrow probably. Or Friday. There’s always next week.
The impending centre forward signing looks like being critical to our planned formation . Hopefully Mark won’t fudge it with a signing gamble ...

Zanatta on one wing, Walsh on the other and Moffat playing as a false 9?
I think according to Tom Walsh in his interview he expects Kerr to play him centrally tucked behind the centre forward .

Any transfer news on the cards for tomorrow ?

Hurst and Teale were DL’s finest work in the market , both were superb and actually turned a heathy profit in the transfer market .

see LC reckons this going to be the most exciting season in recent years, so the last few signings must be spectacular.
So who would represent a spectacular signing ? A striker of the caliber of Annand or Walker ?

Mr McCall snapped up McKenna from Accies and Peter Hartley slipped of to India . Two decent centre half’s off the grid . Hope we have our shit in a pile .
McCormack has made a fortune in recent seasons so maybe money wouldn’t necessarily be his biggest motivator , however at 34 we would be taking a punt that he can stay fit . The evidence still points at youths inbound but you just never know with Kerr .

This one I couldn't argue against.
Do you even know the difference between the union flag and Union Jack ? Or are you like Nic Groom oblivious to the facts . Just wondering because I’m getting board dealing with the tedium that is your ignorant idea of debate .

The icon of the Union Flag burning is supposed to affect me how ? It doesn’t son , so man up and stop making a tit of yourself . The blue in that flag is there to represent Scotland. . Think of that before you do such a crass and idiotic thing again .

Pedigree suggests he’s came through at a decent club and maybe had a crack in the U21’s ... Given the dross on the lists at striker surely he still has a club .
