That's the worst half I've ever ever watched, Two teams absolute pish... Livi wont score ,Holt,Pittman, Lawson Mullin, Bartley, should be ashamed of that performance, Big Big mistake playing Robbo up top by himself, Robbo and Devlin have done brilliant considering that midfield display .Everytime the ball goes out it takes ages to find another ball

I can see a lot of problems with this formation 4-2-3-1, which I think will happen ,this is a defensive setup, Bartley and Holt's instinct
is to sit deep .Sibbalds fitness is questionable, Mullin will have to stop drifting out the games, as he's been doing lately , Robbo will be isolated up front, I don't see many chances being created, who's going to score. Play this formation you'll be giving up midfield, and then hope you're wingbacks are full of running
My formation would be a 4-4-2,I would add Lawson to midfield, and any players that start to hide, or look unfit get them off pronto.

Going on form they won't win it,could they win Yes.
Attitude,closing down,not panicking,playing the correct formation and players is key.When Livi are not playing well,it's usually 7 or 8 players at the onetime,don't ask me why this happens ask the players, only they know.
Playing 2 defensive midfielders in front of a back 4 is a recipe for giving up midfield domination
If all fit I would go 4-1-4-1

Plenty effort by both teams, the game wasted by the wind, fair result overall, Some important Livi players are still not at their best Pittman, Mullin, Bartley, Sibbald. And some are anonymous, and some are not good enough.

the last 3 gamesHolt 3/10 Invisible today, no motivation in getting forward. Livi tend to play with 2 defensive midfielders,I don't know why.
Mullin 5/10 Good in spells, tends to disappear as the game goes on
Pittman 4/10 Playmaker, not today ,plenty effort ,need this guy on the front foot, forced further back today.
Forrest 2/10 After watching him for sometime, I don't think he's good enough, plenty of running, but panics when on the ball
Reilly 3/10 Plenty of running, can't get himself into good positions in the box, another player that's not good enough at this level.
Lawson 5/10 Done ok, think the weather effected his game
Taylor-Sinclair 2/10 I must have missed him coming on, don't think this guys good enough.
Kabia 4/10 Sill not seen enough of him,not really in the game
Jet 3/10 This guy would be great at walking football, his first touch is good, hold up play, and ball control is good, the problem is he's very slow, can't last 45 minutes, far less 90 minutes.

Even game so far, Reilly, Forrest, Holt ,are they playing? .Some good balls into the box down the right, Devlin has done more attacking than Reilly and Forrest together. Pittman not in the game as an attacking force, needs to start running at the defence

Shambolic display on a Shambolic pitch. Looks like Livi are back to the start of the season form, too many players not performing on the day, mistake after mistake, playing to many defensive types and still struggling to contain United breakaways, players caught (playing) out of position
2 or 3 more displays like this and you can forget about a top 6 finish.

Sibbald 2/10 Looked tired slow, off the pace again.
Poplatnikat 3/10 Trier, but caught offside, not had enough game time to judge him overall
Lawson 6/10 Done more in the 20min than the rest of the midfield
Jet 4/10 Terrible first half, Better 2nd half. Missed a sitter.

It's more like 6-2-2
Pittman is the only player to get pass marks first half
Devlin, Serrano, Bartley, Holt all get 1/10
Fitzwater, Mullin, Sibbald, Jet get 0/10.0 -
4-2-3-1 formation in my opinion, only works if you have you're fullbacks bombing forward, this formation was wrong with this starting 11 as an attacking force..
Longridge and Devlin weren't getting up the wing, and when Devlin eventually managed to get up his final ball was poor. Holt and Barclay were quite happy sitting deep, leaving Pittman and Lawson with all the running, which Lawson done well in the first half. Forrest was hugging the touchline, the game just passing him bye with no appetite to try chase the ball.
This game reminded me of the games earlier in the season ,with few chances being created, six defensive type players and 2 good forward midfielders left with to much to do, and a winger in Forrest who is not willing to chase.
4-4-2 would be my formation, if playing, Barclay and Holt need to be playing in the opposition half more on the front foot0 -
Poor display from Livi ,St Johnstone easily the better team. Too many players not turning up, heads dropped at 2-0.
Barclay and Holt really need to start playing further up the park, instead of sitting in front of the defence

I'm finding it hard to work out Livi tactics and team selection ,at the minute they're second best, Aberdeen winning the midfield battle, Serano looks like he's playing in the midfield... Sibbald, Holt, Bartley very poor, Devlin not getting up park enough, Pittman and Robison are being let down by the midfield

Even game with the 2 teams not at their best, very scrappy, misplaced passes, Livi will have to play better than that to win the cup, Sibbald, Pittman ,Mullin, Devlin were poor as an attacking threat. Robinson, Guthrie, Bartley were Livi's best players today

Livi not playing well last 30 min, but still winning,if they don't get their midfield into the game more in the second half, it could be a long 45 min

It's becoming increasingly obvious there's big problems with this Manager and this bunch of players, with the lack of any structure, tactics ,pace, interest ,and the ability to get results WILL eventually get you relegated.
I can't believe after the terrible display against Motherwell, you can come out and play as bad, surely it's no coincidence that all the players having another off day, l just can't see anyway out, Something needs to happen soon or it will be too late, trust me.
