I think Raith are just a bit too small and insignificant to make it anything serious. Yes it's a derby but I think you're lying to yourself if you're saying the fife derby holds more meaning than Falkirk vs Dunfermline.

Some people on here must not actually watch us play, Mutch was at worst slightly shaky in that Forfar game. If you look at what Mutch does he's excellent, holds on to the ball rarely parry's or punches, his distribution is outstanding, probably the best I've seen from a falkirk keeper which in the modern game is vital. He makes big saves and almost always provides a safe pair of hands, not to mention the fact he is our player and possibly only asset left in the whole club. Yes what he done was stupid beyond belief but it's time we get him back in (once recovered).

I'd say given your reaction he's been incredibly smart with it, never has anyone so effortlessly wound up a support as much as this. Fair enough you might find him annoying, but ultimately Calling Queens poor atm is hardly pointing anything new out.

The way things have been run recently would surely make any fan want change, at this point I would happily take someone with absolutely no knowledge of them in, if I thought there was even a chance it could work, how anyone can bare the crap we've put up with in recent years is beyond me. In this case however, there actually is knowledge of the people interested and they stand up against anyone at our level very well. I think when you're a full time team playing against tinpot shite you should be capable of comfortably out performing them in any circumstances. If the players weren't up for the game that's actually more worrying given they haven't played for so long, would think they would be bursting for a game. Wouldn't normally shit the bed over a friendly result but even with 5 trialists and a new team at half time the Shire should not be beating us.

Fair enough my impression was it was a deal till January that was cut short. The point still stands, he played badly in the games he played, as did the rest of the team. The guys miles past it, certainly was a very good player but this isn't 2010.

He "took apart my post" what absoslute crap you're getting far to caught up on how many games he played as opposed to the actual standard he's shown, which btw is pretty awful and miles off championship standard. What absoslute nonsense his performances were not in merit of a new deal, fair enough he might have left for personal reasons but I'm sure no Stenny fans were sad to see the back of him. I'm absoslutely certain QOS will be relegated and I don't think it will be long before the proof is in the pudding. This is miles from a good signing.

He was absoslutely dreadful for the majority of his time there. Wasnt offered a new deal and never appeared fully fit. If you think he will be a success you're very deluded and mistaken.

He played 8 times and didn't impress at all, that's facts.

I thought QOS were jumped before. This has just confirmed it for me, guy couldn't get in a mediocre league 2 Stenny team last season. What is actually going on here.

Ray is a bad manager. He brings in players without any system in mind and hopes it will come together. Granted he will probably win the league this season, but he's a very bad manager with no strategy of play and uses an assistant who was on a C liscence course about 9 months ago. If queens park want to progress through the leagues he won't do.

From my pov that was fairly obvious. We failed at the final hurdle every time. There's a lot of love for Houston and rightly so. However it can't be argued that ultimately we failed in what we set to achieve.

I'm fairly confident we wouldn't have got promoted with Houston without the big sides in the league regardless. The reason we actually done so well was because we were the underdogs. As soon as there was an ounce of pressure or expectation on us we crumbled. Scottish cup final, play off final, play off semi final etc. Houston was great at setting us up to not lose and thankfully we had a few match winners.

Bang average is remarkably generous. Never had a player hidden on a football pitch quite like McKee.

I'd confidently say this team looks a lot more promising than last years team. Given how rank we have been in recent years you'd be mad to not be pessimistic, however this team looks a lot younger and energetic on paper.

Can see this being a really tough season for QOTS. Not liking the look of that recruitment.

Buchanan is signing for Qots. Should be confirmed this week. Very dodgy defender, however when hes having a good game he looks unbeatable.
