With the following caveats how would you rate you teams January transfer business from A (excellent) - E (very poor)?
The loan window runs until the end of February
League 1 / League 2 are obviously in a temporary shutdown
Finances are not what they have been in previous years
Here are our thoughts here and let us know what you think?

Annan, yer spot on, need a striker.
Stranraer - although he hasn't won his place back from Cummings, Burns looked good at left back at the start of the season.
I'd go for Right Back. Of the 3 players who've played there this season, Grant Gallagher is better in midfield, Scott Robertson is better at centre back, and Jamie Hamill is better on the bench. So a right back please.
Having said that, good form draws prying eyes, so the best outcome of this transfer window for Stranraer is to make it through to the restart without having lost any players.
Yeah this was one of the harder ones as the squad seems relatively balanced. All going well, the summer window will be more of an interesting time with some players reaching the twilight of their careers. Certainly a squad capable of competing but you're right holding onto what you've got was important for Stranraer. It's shaping up to be a tasty promotion battle when (if) we get back to it in the lower leagues.

See our thoughts below:
This weeks Championship edition:
️Can Dundee get back on track at Raith despite injuries?
️Hearts building for the Premiership already?
️Are ICT in a relegation battle?
️Ayr to finally get a win at home to Alloa?

If your club could strengthen ONE position in the January window ahead of football re-starting, what would it be?

Does seeing Dyron Daal pished while carrying curry sauce and chips out of Cookies in Dingwall count?
But of course. In fact, it's perfect.

Personally i'd say we were confident of around a playoff spot maybe in 4th just creeping in to playoffs when season started.
Was worried when shane sutherland left if there would be someone to step into his boots and keep scoring the majority of games but hester seems to be doing pretty well at it so far and even when he was out few of the midfield stepped in with some goals.
Think it also helps that we've kept most of the squad from last season after pushing for promotion then and also adding to this seasons squad helps and the winning consistency seems to be carrying on so far and not really surprised that were 2nd and in the playoffs area but of course havent seen much of the games cant say much about the other teams apart from queens park seem to be well organised and most probably take the league
Yeah Hester really stepped up in the absence of Sutherland and Josh Peters been a shrewd signing too. Know what you're saying about retaining the majority of the squad from last season - a lot of teams who have done that (Montrose and Stranraer spring to mind) have benefitted from that consistency and seem to have kicked on.
You certainly seem a good team to watch so would be good to see Elgin some point this season.1 -

If lacklustre consists of being undefeated and being 5 points clear at top having now played everyone in the league, then here’s hoping for more lacklustre seasons to come. In all seriousness, the expectancy that some may have that we should be winning games by 3/4/5 goal margins each week is bonkers and this may contribute to people’s perceptions of a lacklustre start. Teams will see us a free hit most weeks and ultimately performance levels of the opposition are more likely to increase exponentially meaning the onus is on us to maintain the high standards that have already been set from the players.
Yeah well said, couldn't agree with you more. Just know there's some fans out there that will have that opinion. That's a level-headed approach to it. You can't be asking for much more

Not much to complain about after the first round of games we presume? Or are things a bit lacklustre under McKinnon so far, despite being pole position?

Bar the wobble at the beginning of the season, are Stranraer sitting more or less where predicted? Given how difficult it is to bounce straight back up and the money being chucked around at some of the clubs around you, are you happy with progress after the first round of games?

These Journeyman spots are causing plenty chuckles on the show, anyone got any more? Keep em coming ...

Brilliant first quarter for Elgin obviously - arguably exceeding initial expectations or were you always confident? Signings like Tony Dingwall mean that you could potentially sustain a promotion push too surely?

Well if whats promised is going to happen actually happens then yes I do
Interesting... do tell?

How would you assess Rover's first quarter given the squad you have?

How do you assess the first quarter for Cowden? About where you predicted? Brechin win was huge, do you see yourselves climbing the table or will riding the season out above the drop zone be job done?

Looking for some obscure sightings of well-travelled Scottish football figures far and (quite often) wide. Have you seen Kris Doolan buying a meal deal from the pop-up Gregg's stand at Kinross services? Or perhaps you've sold a kitchen to Graeme Smith.
Fire at will.

Megginson's an interesting one - he doesn't seem bothered by the step up in divisions so could look to cut it at a higher level but where's the question. Clearly money talks but you wonder if he's carved out a piece for himself in the north and may be playing in the same division as ICT and potentially County fairly soon. Could be fairly easy to hold on to him but also a success every window you do.
Believe Hester's on a deal until 2023 so might take a relative wedge to shift him. What a pairing that would be though.
